What do we expect to see here? I thought it was supposed to be rocks, trees and greenery as a new entrance to hogesmeade?

Wait, so do we know what will be replacing Zonko's yet?

The interior will be an expansion of Honeyduke's. I don't know if the Zonko's exterior will change or not. But it's a much needed space increase for the always popular Honeyduke's.

All the windows and doors to Zonko's are now covered as well. And might I say that the checkout in Honeyduke's is VERY claustrophobic now with the new wall in place. My hope for the new expanded shop is a new, larger, checkout area that's more organized and doesn't create such a traffic flow problem like the current counter does.

Thanks for the update.

Yikes! That place was congested to begin with. I hope Honeyduke's expansion moves quickly.

I know this has already been discussed in pretty large detail, but it's pretty disappointing how much Forbidden Journey has been toned down. Having taken a ride for the first time in many months last week, the ride could easily put me to sleep now. Rides like Cat in the Hat are now more sickening/intense.

I think that's a bit dramatic...it is hardly noticable

It's very noticeable, you can hardly feel it move in the domes anymore.

It doesn't feel anywhere remotely close to "flying" on a bench. Aside from the wind, they've removed all sensation of flying.

I have noticed a difference, but I think it's more intense in some areas and less intense in others...I think what they did was smart though, because a larger audience can ride this thing now. I think many people were upset with the ride originally because of motion sickness issues, but I think Uni has done quite a good job making it more rideable for a wider audience.

FJ isn't a white knuckle thrill ride though.

It's an innovative ride system capable of many different motions coupled with other sensual experiences. Motion is just part of the much bigger picture.

I thought it was more enjoyable when I rode it this past October. The earlier version caused me some slight motion sickness. After the adjustments , no motion sickness, and I didn't really notice anything different in the ride besides the clearer screens. But then again I only ride it a few times each year while on vacation so I'm not the most observant of riders.

As much of a thrill junkie as I am, I really don't mind the toned-down aspect of it. I like that the projections are clear and not just colored blurs anymore. Plus the live sets are thrilling enough to get my adrenaline going and the simulator aspect of it does relatively nothing for me, even with added motion.
