Cool. Had no idea since I haven't been for about a year. Just posted as it seemed post-worthy.

BTW, is the new Ollivander's queue working out well? Is it preventing lines in the street in front of Spintwitches?

Also, what is the interior of the Spintwitches building used for? I might have once known but I have forgotten.

The one that wraps behind and around the Hogsmead buildings? If you mean that one, yes it's going well. Also having a TM out front saying "yeah this line is an hour" helps with the line too.

Well, I was more concerned about whether it still overflows into the street, causing the street to become narrower and difficult to pass through when busy.

I've only seen it spill out once since the changes and that was during the crazy holiday rush.

The altered que definitely helps with crowd flow on High Street. There is some slight congestion for Dragon Challenge's exit. Specifically, accessing the direct route back to the lockers.

Pic from @OrlandoInformer

The queue for Ollivander's is about 60m

In news that I was forced to hold out on, (Sorry in advance. A lot of hate is going to fly my way in a minute) HPFJ's ride profiling was briefly altered MASSIVELY and run for the past few days.

It was a complete reprofile designed to be less intense and easier on the stomach. The best way I can describe it was that it was slow as **** and felt cheapened. The Whomping Willow sequence was favorable though as the Willow moved in front of the RV again.

However if you didn't get to ride it the last few days, unfortunately you may never get to. Due to response from TMs and guests, as well as serious glitches with the profile, the profiling is being rolled back tonight.

Though, from what I've been told, it would appear the Creative is obsessed with this new profile and may try and get it back ASAP.

TLDR;

Profile was changed. It sucked for the ride system and for us. Its leaving tonight. May or may not come back.

Is it due to massive amount of guest complaints regarding getting sick on that ride? I've never had an issue with it, but I know a lot of my friends do.

Oh gawd... I have always said the need to move everything with faster, harder, swifter movements. A boat on rolling seas created the word "seasick". Belt us around like spidey and all will be fine. I want my legs to wag back and forth and fly up straight constantly yet unexpectedly. Burn the motors out of those Kukas. I would love to ride the violent ride profile they tested years ago.

Its due to the amount of guest incidents they have and their bodily fluids, lol. And the fact that Creative is never satisfied.

I've always wanted everything the old way, but people are whiney about it. I would also love the old ride profile they had with the rolls like in the Common Room video.

That is interesting that they are stil looking at alternative ride intensity levels. Sounded worse. The only thing I reallu dont like is when you are being tilted to the extreme left or right & peoples legs are bumping into yours, & if they took out the part where you are on your back, I wouldnt mind either.

People throw up at Forbidden Journey like once every other hour. Often times on the platform and they have to go down because of it. I don't think we should change the ride for everyone else though..

I like my dark rides rough though!!! :fist: which is a bit ironic given the fact that I do not care too much for roller coasters. Hahaha. But yeah, they should not lower the roughness of the ride. It's intended to be that way.

Just like The Cat In The Hat with less spinning. No need to ruin a beautiful thing.

Do the serious glitches have to do w/ the whomping willow?
