So what will happen to the original olivanders? Will they keep it or replace it? I seem to remember this being discussed before but cannot remember the answer.

I believe that it is staying a wand shop, but I believe that the "show" is being eliminated. I wish they would turn it into Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop.

I'm pretty ticked off they are toning down FJ. Not going to lie. It really pisses me off. Uni is going soft on us lol jk but I'm still mad. Why do we always have to change a good thing?

Because a large amount of people have gotten sick after the ride or felt queesy...this is not a carnival spin and puke ride...it is a highly complex dark ride that should be able to be enjoyed by a mass audience.

Personally they should try out 3 different ride levels: tame, mild, and wild. You'd pick which one at the tour line switch.

This. And because they're adapting it for a Japanese audience which is statistically more prone to motion sickness than the crowds here in America.

I wrote out a very lengthy response a few months back as to why this isn't possible at Forbidden Journey.

It used to make me motion sick but since the projector upgrades and everything else has been much better. The worst ride they have for motion sickness is simpsons and despicable me

I just rode FJ today... This better be the last time they tone down this ride, it's ridiculous how smooth it is now.

When you say toned down, is it that there isn't as much movement in the projection parts? I always thought it was very smooth, but would occasionally still get a little motion sickness in the domes. Not enough though to not get right back in line :)

Ive noticed that at some parts, especially near the end, the motions are a lot less exaggerated. I hope those air bladders we've heard a little bit about help it return to the "original" ride profile.

I look forward to the day that every new ride takes a page out of Antarctica's book and allows the riders to choose mild or wild experiences. Then we can knock it off with slowly making FJ less awesome.

You mean choose between hating this while being jostled around too much, or hate this "ride" and get jostled around a bit... Tough choice.

There is something other than the Hogsmeade Station that has gone vertical in the area, it's really close to the construction barriers near the Hogsmeade arch way. What appears to be going up looks like another arch way???

The new air bladders are nice, they just blow a nice wind on your face to reduce Kinetosis.

Ok, now I am blocked from both the Diagon thread and now the Stash thread because someone has posted a mega res image there too. Anyone want to post a 12000 x 8000 pixel image here too? That is higher res than any projector Universal has in their possession.

Oops! That was me :P I shrunk it but guess the size wasn't small enough. I'll edit out the pic and just leave the link. And I'll go ahead and post another link to an even lower size

Ok, I edited all my posts and you should now be good to enter both those threads

^ Not a prob. I can download/view them quite well, just not in the browser.

Well, I will just post here regarding observations in the activity page for Diagon. I am not surprised they were finally posted HTF. We certainly know where they came from as we have seen a partial of one and a hand drawing of the other quite some time ago. That person (from that very magic website) probably felt that enough water had passed under the dam and allowed the dump via a "conduit".

What are those stairs in the knockturn area? At least one set looks like it was intended for the "public".
