^ The video is also a good example of the screams that will occur above the station load area.

As can be seen on the latest photo's there is a roof being build above the loading platform. The rest of the opening will be taken up and closed of by the Hogwarts express. Combined with engine sounds, station sounds, quartermaster calls, maybe ambient music and the leaving and entering of the guests themselves I don't thing a few screams from a coaster train riding behind these walls every few minutes will disturb the experience.
The "tranquil" village of Hogsmead also doesn't suffer from the duelling coaster on the other side of the wall and a kiddy coaster at the end of the street.

I find it odd that we'd imagine the noise of Dragon Challenge would be a distraction from the magic of Harry Potter, I mean, whenever you enter Harry Potter on even a mildly busy day the experience is immediately dampened because all you see is tourists :)

Video from Orlando Informer showing the complete lack of LC games and how that drastically changes the sightline as you approach Hogmeade. It will be interesting to see exactly what they do with this area.

^ That is a great video overview. It will be interesting to see what replaces what on either side... I could only hope for tons of evergreen spruce-like trees to set the anticipation.

I was taken aback when I saw a picture earlier. I couldn't wrap my head around what I was looking at and then realized I never seen that view because it used to be blocked. I actually wish they'd just keep going.

All I can say is I'm thinking Orlando is going to take a page out of the HW Potter for whats planned long term in that space.

Dare I say...Great Hall restaurant? Highly unlikely due to its small area and distance from the castle. But it would certainly take away from the popularity of the Be Our Guest restaurant at MK.

Put the Great Hall just outside the entrance to Hogwarts in a well planned, well laid out area that tries to hold as true to the fiction as possible.......

It could make a lot of sense to put the Great Hall over there right where the Hogwarts Express entrance/exit is at, and could potentially share some of the infrastructure of three broomsticks

It makes no sense whatsoever to have a great hall restaurant outside of the castle. Won't happen.

It also doesn't make sense to have Beast's Castle in Belle's Cottage, but they found a way to make it work in the story. It doesn't have to be physically in the castle to make you feel like you've been transported to the castle.

In the books you can enter the castle through a portrait in Hogsmeade (similar to Belle's cottage and the Beast's castle. They can make the exterior look like a continuation of hogsmeade buildings, but inside would replicate the Great Hall.

While a good idea, that portrait is located in a back room of the Hogs Head. Presenting yet another problem.

Infastructure wise sure, story wise no.

You mean the story of that area isn't "Beauty and the Beast over here, Snow white over there, Little Mermaid over this way and..... Circus!"?

Aside from the location of said portrait, wasn't that also a tunnel that led to the room of requirement (Which is already in the land as the load platform for FJ)?
