Here's a mini update:

The new forest seen from the Studio Tour boarding zone.

The area as seen from the Studio Tour bridge. It seems the wiring frame for the rock-work is just about complete, as you can see that it's now nestled up against the archway leading to the Herbology Greenhouse section of the queue.

Scaffolding galore. A few chunks of finalized rock-work could be seen strewn across the dirt around the site.

The Hogsmeade arch at sunset...

The triangular piece is for the top of the astronomy tower I believe. Also I read on Twitter that official Wizarding World of Harry Potter merchandise will be available throughout the park on May 22nd. Part of the tweet also mentioned that the feature presentation store will be hauled with potter merch the beginning of that Memorial Day weekend.

Don't get me wrong, but how do the disabled board this ride?  You cannot stop the ride flow of the zipper?  This seems to be a challenge that I would like to see how they resolve.

The ride has a separate load/un load station for disabled or slow guests. It's very similar to Radiator Springs Racers and Space Mountain.

Who wants to bet they'll have the exterior of the central tower completed and the scaffolding down by the time Fast & Furious opens. I can't think of a better coming soon billboard.

Doing so cuts off part of the first scene of the ride, however, which is unfortunate.

Thats what I'm imagining that the exterior work could be done by fall. It will be amazing to see when its finished!  This Summer will be a great one!

Screamscape has reported that the Seasonal Passes now being sold expire in the middle of February instead of the middle of March. Do you think this means Wizarding World is ahead of schedule?

Wizarding World seems to be ahead of schedule. I wouldn't be surprised if they start soft openings in January and officially open in mid-Feb.

Oh that would be great. I think it'll be awesome if they opened early. Having a complete or semi complete looking castle just sit there for months (if they are finished early, like in september or october) would probably make guests anxious and wondering why it wasn't open.

Plus, I just really want it to open early. I mean who doesn't?

Photos are currently surfacing of Feature Presentation completely shuttered and closed, with the Despicable Me marquee replaced by one featuring the WWoHP logo. It seems the rumors of us getting this store opened by Memorial Day Weekend may be true, if not sooner.

Im pretty excited about WW opening in feb. Im heading off the college this year and Spring break would be a perfect time. The Universal staff will get the crowds sorted out and the ride will be fully functional.

Again, that's a rumor, not fact yet.I'm excited to preview some of the merchandise in the park ahead of time already! I think it'd be cool if they also featured a scale model of the land in the middle of the store as a preview, that'd be so cool.

Funny, last year I suggested that the Feature store be used to preview the land or its merchandise!
