So far I have had the shepherds pie and the fish and chips. I have yet to try any of the desserts. I wasn't overwhelmed with the shepherds pie but it wasn't too bad. Fish and chips are good but wasn't thrilled about the portion. Next time I want to try the spareribs dinner as that sounds amazing but it is a little pricey. I'd rather get a group of four and have the great feast.

So the prime rib is apparently everyone's least favorite. Interesting.

I, unfortunately wasn't able to go and experience Broomsticks yesterday, but when I come back; I hope that I can.

_

I wanted to just discuss my thoughts on FJ, but to clarify. I have only been on the ride two times. But my first thing is to say; wow. Universal has a great attraction for Hollywood now, and its quite stellar.

When I entered the line, I was immersed through by the series; and loved all of the effects. It was something that I never quite seen in Universal, and that's not counting the ride. And without going to spoilers; it lived through what I was hoping, as I was having fun, and being terrified by one scene in particular (HANDZ). The ride tech, when I went through the attraction the second time, seems amazing to see; as the vehicle does what it can.

And my thoughts on the 3D..I went on twice. One with regular glasses and 3D glasses; and the second just with the 3D glasses. I had a slight issue on motion sickness the first time (thank you, Air bladders); but the second time, it felt very well done. Especially with the visuals, being 4K and all that jazz.

All in all, I love FJ; as it now pushes the bar of expectations for what may come around USH in the future, and I am so happy that something like FJ, is now in Hollywood; as its a gem to behold..

And, the Sightlines; I didn't really mind them, per say. I do get why people are angry of it though, but its something that isn't easy to do for Hollywoods case.

I think my favorite dish at The Three Broomsticks would have to be Shepherd's Pie, but the Bangers & Mash is pretty good too.

I love the Shepard's Pie and the Chicken. Very tasty. I got to go to an event last Monday and they had all the food available like a buffet and I got a bit of everything. It was really good. But I guess the prime rib is my least favorite, glad I didn't have to pay for it.

Is the Annual Pass event site working for anyone else? I know that you had to have a valid pass before today but was I supposed to RSVP before today too?

When I went to the Three Broomsticks a few weeks back, I got the bangers and mash, a cold butterbeer, and the toffee pudding for dessert, and it was all fantastic. But I got a frozen butterbeer later, and I found it way too sweet.

FYI for today's special event, they wouldn't let anyone without the kaiser ticket into Wizarding world after 1pm  and you couldn't go on any rides without kaiser ticket

You found the frozen sweet? Huh, most people think it is less sweet. Must be different for everyone. But I love both!!

In Florida I found Frozen Butterbeer to be very bland in taste compared to the cold version, of which was liquid crack.

Really hoping warm butterbeer will be there by May.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed- I'm new here.

For the Red Carpet premiere set for April 5th, will it be available for the public to attend if they purchase general admission tickets?

No. The Red Carpet will take place after the park closes.

For Lent I gave up gluten and corn which has made eating at the Three Broomsticks very difficult for me.  Every time I ask about gluten free options they give me different answers.  No one really seems to have a solid knowledge of the nutrition info.  I asked for the allergen menu last time because I discovered Florida has one but they weren't sure if they carried it.  Anyway, I have been able to get a few meals and have enjoyed everything I've tried so far.  My biggest surprise was how tasty the vegetarian platter is.  It's not listed on the printed menu outside and I don't think it's on the display indoors either.  Almost like a secret menu item.  It's mashed potatoes, with thick, grilled asparagus, roasted tomatoes, peas and more.  It's very filling and flavorful for a vegetarian alternative.  I was impressed and am happy to eat it.

I can't wait until Easter so I can have free reign at Three Broomsticks and Honeydukes.  Until then I'm so grateful Butterbeer is gluten free and without corn syrup!

yeah, to piggyback on this--asked hogs head for a triple, the bartender was like "i have no idea what that is, are you asking for a triple shot?"

Ha, we recently also had a weird experience with the bartender.  We were asking about different drink options, trying to figure out what we wanted.  Then she suggested Polyjuice Potion.  I asked what it was and she started explaining to me in the context of the stories.  I told her I was aware what Polyjuice Potion did but wanted to know what is IN it, besides hair of the person you're trying to transform into.  Then she suddenly played dumb and said I would have to ask a student.  It was like she teased us with a secret cocktail menu item and then wouldn't give it to us.  Has anyone ordered a Polyjuice Potion?  Do we know what the breakdown is?  It seems like the bartenders would prefer if we ask for the drinks by their components and not the unofficial Harry Potter name.

I just noticed I have yet to buy a single item at Honeyduke's. I really wanna try that no melt ice cream, it sounds creative. I really wish Butterbeer ice cream was served though.

Yep, I'd have to say Fizzing Whizbees are my favorite as well (so far, at least). I'd still like to try some more of the shop's offerings, though.

I don't think the GP will be getting anywhere near Hogsmeade on that day.
