I wonder how much has progressed inside the Hogsmeade shops considering their exteriors have been finished for quite some time now

From a site i will not name, they have a lot of good photos of Hogsmeade so-far, including a familar look but now with trees and work being done to seperate Hippo and Shrek.

If anyone can clear this up for me, are the Light blue toppers new for the towers? As I don't think these were the same for Orlandos.

Here is the walls so-far bordering Shrek and Hippo and..I hope these aren't the final product. I just want them a little bit more cleaned up and polished.

If any of the staff here doesn't like the pictures or the post, then you can remove it but I wanted to point out these little things.

Yea the spire tops are the same as in Orlando & Japan. In regards to the interiors of Hogsmeade, I should have word on that sometime next week along with some info about the backside of Hogsmeade where there is a pathway.

MiceChat is fine, and even if we didn't like them, it's always right to source your material if it's not original.


Having said that, I do prefer that we didn't link to websites or accounts with a shady track record or a history of stealing material from these forums and the main site. A lot of banned members have started their own websites or accounts, and we should always understand why they were banned in the first place.

Evening visit 07/31/2015.  Hogwarts Express has pulled into the station (never to move again).

From the studio tour bridge it looks like the trees are spaced out enough to create a queue around them a la Shrek.  Or is this seating?  Or a forest-y, view-blocking path from Stu's Disco?

Seriously, looking at these pictures is giving me major chills. I just...I can't believe this is happening. This isn't just any ol' theme park expansion project. I'm seeing my childhood dreams come true.

I just notice; what exactly will Universal do to obscure the backside of Shrek? Looking at this picture reflects how immense the building is and I don't think any about of agriculture can obscure the building properly especially how close it is to the land.

I think that's why they recently re-painted it to look more like a castle in the style of Wizarding World. Cause they can't just cover it up. So they just painted it to blend in like another castle.

Here is a little bit of info regarding Hogsmeade (should have better confirmation in a few days about the red, orange, blue & green areas)

Red - NEW scenic structures NOT found in Orlando/Japan's Hogsmeade

Brown - 3 Broomsticks patio

Orange - Ollivander's queue (just like Japan)

Blue - Exit path to Studio Tour hub

Green - Forbidden Journey extended queue

Yellow - Spirit Rally stage (Frog choir, Beauxbaton girls, Durmstrang dudes)

That is what my guess is, however it is hard to judge the size of the building's interior. I'd hope it isn't the only bathroom in the land considering how packed it will be. Like I said, I should have some type of confirmation on that sometime this week .....hopefully.

Okay so here is what I've dug up... its not much since most of what will be found in WWOHP is on the website, but this should help give you an idea of how Hogsmeade will be when it opens next year. If you're familiar with Hogsmeade Orlando, this will be a little easier to understand, but for those that aren't, sorry if this is a little confusing.

Ollivander's is where Gladrags/Pottages Cauldrons was. Gladrags is where Ollivander's was. Wiseacre's is where Magic Neep was. Neep & Pottages are over by Shrek. Other than the left side, past the bathrooms, everything else is pretty much exactly the same. The USH exclusive is apparently like a pub/inn.

Green - Forbidden Journey extended queue

Blue - Guest exit path to Studio Tour hub

Brown - Ollivander's

Orange - Wiseacre's

Red - Hogwart's Express cabin photo-op (same as Japan)

Aqua Blue - Can't remember, will try to get confirmation later

White - NEW "USH exclusive"

Purple - Cauldron shop

Yellow - Magic Neep
