Something I've started to realize in all my runs, Triplets is very much the 'easter egg' house this year! Keep an eye out for these the next time you run it:
  • Extermin-Air bottle (Bugs)
  • Jack Schmidt evidence bag
  • One of the newspapers in the podcast room is about a series of 'seaside murders' (Dead Man's Pier)
  • Another newspaper is about bodies found in a state park (Yeti: Campground Kills)
  • I'm not sure where, but I've been told there is a Caretaker reference.
  • And I'm sure there's a whole lot more in the podcast room.

You will never convince me this house wasn't supposed to originally be in the UK. I humbly present you the following evidence:

1. The name Barmy

2. The "Bloody Good" Food item

3. There were rumors ahead of time it took place in Britian

4.While it now takes place in the US, it's in Pennsylvania, which I think was chosen for the brief urban setting towards the end

Regarding the motive, the tour guide said the treatment was intentionally non-specific a la Michael Myers, but there were some potential references that alluded to why as to why they went insane, and the Extermin-air was one.

Interestingly enough, I had originally pegged this as happening in Carey due to the Ohio license plate on the police car, but the guide confirmed it was actually set in Toledo (and the podcast section of the house does confirm it as such). When I asked why it wasn't in Carey, she said that legal wants them to move away from setting things in Carey to a more Anytown, USA, especially for certain mazes. I have no idea if that's really true, but it does seem plausible given the state of things. (I would hope this is wrong.)
