Can we just call this house what it is....Bob's Burgers does Halloween. Wanted to like it but at the bottom of my list unfortunately
Regarding the motive, the tour guide said the treatment was intentionally non-specific a la Michael Myers, but there were some potential references that alluded to why as to why they went insane, and the Extermin-air was one.Something I've started to realize in all my runs, Triplets is very much the 'easter egg' house this year! Keep an eye out for these the next time you run it:
- Extermin-Air bottle (Bugs)
- Jack Schmidt evidence bag
- One of the newspapers in the podcast room is about a series of 'seaside murders' (Dead Man's Pier)
- Another newspaper is about bodies found in a state park (Yeti: Campground Kills)
- I'm not sure where, but I've been told there is a Caretaker reference.
- And I'm sure there's a whole lot more in the podcast room.
I could see Extermin-Air having something to do with it, especially considering they're the reason for two movies' plotlines in Sinema (Undead Clowns + Blood and Chum). As Brian recently pointed out elsewhere, I'd take anything coming from a tour guide with a grain of salt. They're great, but they tend to add their own color and theories that isn't really always 100% truthful/consistent with A&D's design intent.
Yeah, if they were going for, "the parents drove their children to madness" it certainly didn't land with me.The one thing that bothered me in this house is that, at least for me, the interior of the Barmy home didn't match the exterior. The exterior screamed "hoarder/hillbilly" and the interior just looked like.. a normal house.
when people said this could be like house of 1000 corpses or devils rejects I expected that they would have done something hoarder from the speculationThe one thing that bothered me in this house is that, at least for me, the interior of the Barmy home didn't match the exterior. Also their parents made them all birthday cakes and bought them presentsYeah, if they were going for, "the parents drove their children to madness" it certainly didn't land with me.
I do wish the inside was a disgusting mess, mold and trash everywhere ala RE7.The one thing that bothered me in this house is that, at least for me, the interior of the Barmy home didn't match the exterior. if they were going for the whole Halloween Michael Myers thing then it kinda makes sense if the house wasn't super messed up.I do wish the inside was a disgusting mess, mold and trash everywhere ala RE7.
Then they shouldn't have made the exterior of the house super messed up lolif they were going for the whole Halloween Michael Myers thing then it kinda makes sense if the house wasn't super messed up.
What if it was vanilla cake and they asked for strawberry. Much to consider. Also their parents made them all birthday cakes and bought them presents
I think they're just jerks
In what way? Honestly, the negative energy against this house from fans has been pretty substantial since the thing was announced. It’s weird that this is the house everyone is debating this year.

And it's funny, because I was one of the biggest defenders of it from the announcement. It was very high on my hype list.In what way? Honestly, the negative energy against this house from fans has been pretty substantial since the thing was announced.
