^ I have wondered if that might be it. Tree of Life has become a mess.

The netting is actually gone from Tree of Life now after it's recent refurb.

It had a refurb? I never saw that discussed anywhere... mercy, I am out of touch on Disney. Were there pictures of lifts and workers and all that during the day? I would love to see.

It doesn't help maintain the illusion.

O.o and exactly what illusion is Carowinds trying to create?

Sorry the one I was talking about is opposite. Fury is supposed to pass underneath the bridge walkway to the entrance of the park. So coaster riders will be going underneath people walking in (not necessarily paying customers) I don't think any amount of netting can help.

Eh, the Hulk passes under a bridge and there aren't any issues with that. I think as long as there's some sort of overhang above the track on either side of the bridge it's fine.

Wow, even the lift was green. Good show! I wonder if they had to dissect the joints of every small branch and repair the connection? Thanks NBT.

If I didn't have Express, I would hate to wait in line without my phone.

There are some differences with the Hulk going under the bridge. 1) Guests are already in the park and are paying customers that must adhere to the park rules 2) Hulk has the long tunnel that it goes through when going under the bridge (I assume for protection). Fury doesn't have this in the renderings.

They would have to pay to park at that point though...I'm not sure who is going to fork over $15 or whatever it is just to throw some random stuff at people on a roller coaster. Also, the tunnel under the bridge is exactly what I was talking about...this can easily be added to the Fury ride...I dont remember any time that renderings were completely 100% accurate.

My main gripe against the lockers is the hassle and wait if it's crowded. It all should have been designed where the lockers are inline right before the ride to cut down on the required amount of lockers. Then have it where you empty from the other side and it's easy peasy. Or go ghetto like six flags and just have the bins next to the coasters. It's the hassle that everyone hates.

Yea I had to wait almost 10 mins to get my stuff out of the locker when I got off. Very crowded little area. I wonder what its going to be like when the crowds are high. Not many lockers in that area I can see them running out easy.

NEVER!!

Fun fact..or rather..opinion: Hulk's queue video is actually has some very funny moments in it..and it builds tension for the ride about to happen..

Are they enforcing these same cellphone, keys and wallets rules on Mummy?

Don't be shocked to see this become a resort-wide thing with Dragons, Hippogriff & even Woody. As with any ridiculous sounding policy that's been enacted, I'm sure this is somehow connected to guest safety both on and off the ride following some sort of incident.

I don't think Mummy will be affected mostly because it's indoors, but they might just for the sake of continuity between attractions.
