Well, for starters, they could've built Donkey Kong Country in secret and grand opened it with the event or, alternatively, revealed they'd developed Tron-like laser tech that can digitize guests and trap them in a real life or death situation in a Nintendo gaming grid, but I dream a little too big sometimes.

MY Wife's number one thing is to meet Yoshi at this event, lol

Wanted to see potential limited DK merch and less obvious Mario stuff (because its a "fan" event). But, it's cool they're going all in on Yoshi more than I thought they would. The merch looks better than the regular park merch. I need that jacket (and I don't even like Yoshi).

Wondering if they'll also be exclusive stamps for the event, hopefully so. Can't wait to see the Yoshi stamp leaked in the app data finally be usable.

Reading the BTTF element more and more--I think there is something that should perk those familar with the Studio Tour past a bit of a chuckle.

In the press release and information, a big thing confirmed was that of a reenactment of the major climax of BTTF1.

For those familiar, back in the day Screamscape posted a rumor of the Studio Tour 50th when the Nighttime Studio Tours had occurred; of a desire to of done the finale back then (but that they couldn't justify the costs as a result of the nature of the Nighttime Studio Tour). It seems now they have that justification to do what was planned back then.

The fun thing is that I have heard as of recent that they're testing just how fast can they legally drive the Delorean for the sake of the reenactment, so I am glad to see it being as much physical as it will be reliant upon for audio and lighting.

Hoping more concepts from that time gets repurposed for FFN. It feels like a great "Excuse" to see what could've been.

EDIT: musing on this and I feel inclined to post this--but FFN's a interesting example of concepts and ideas that on paper would work out really nicely for Hollywood, but if it was for free (IE; Star Trek, DND, BTTF, Magical Creatures, and Jujutsu Kaisen) it probably wouldn't pass the smell test due to the nature of seasonal events and the cost bleed it brings.

Now that they are doing FFN, they will likely have an excuse to bring in IP's and to do things with their brands that would not be considered financially reasonable if it was for free. That's not to say experiences that'd be free are gonna be locked behind the paywall forever (Hogwarts Always and Yoshi for instance), but it gives them a excuse to go out and be more wacky and fun.

It's kind of like how Universal Cool is free for the most part--but is usually backed through sponsorships and the aid of Osaka (if I recall). Fan Fest Nights for better or worse, is going to depend and need that of the willingness of their guests; and the willingness to give something like this a fair shake.

Maybe if the effect of the lighting can be done cheaper now....we could see it come to the nightime tour later

I've said it before but Fan Fest is the perfect way to subsidize getting new additions to USH and making it back from Fan fest then USH people later on get to benefit off it...like having Fantasic beast show later, Marty and Biff becoming walk around characters and Yoshi at SNW.....no idea if USH is that forward thinking but to me this feels like the easiest way to get some more things to get people into USH and you also get an event

Not entirely shocked they didn't go all out for the anime offerings but everything, especially D&D sounds awesome.

Yoshi being a new meetable character shocked me the most, especially with how Hollywood's land is basically getting something Japan hasn't. Similarly I also hope this leads to Daisy as well.

Meanwhile, seeing that the DWT will be used for the event if I read that right, I now wonder if JoJo could be fair game for next year with an English version of the 4D show for it. I think it can do with or without recency with how iconic Part 3 is.

I have to think it's in part that it is the inaugural year and that they are likely wanting to ensure budgeting can be fairly distributed as it is (Especially as they are renting space out on the Backlot for this event in the expense Metro sets), ontop of the work that's going into Star Trek and Dungeons & Dragons.

I'm interested to know when dub actors will be able to talk about being involved on Jujutsu Kaisen admittedly. I have to think it'd be interesting to see how they promote it with western anime groups like Crunchyroll.

Part of me is still quietly wondering if Hollywood goes for Chainsaw Man: Chaos at HHN. It feels like a no brainer "iron while hot" moment with branding and merchandising to work with Crunchyroll again on the localization/dubbing of that show (also helps that Chaos is an attraction seemingly made in mind for the HHN events).

Oh crap, this isn't saying all dates prior to this have sold out, right? I didn't think the hype would be that big. I'm gonna have to act quickly then, christ.

Edit: I misread it and missed how this was for the ultimate fandom pass. Might go for 2 day.

They have not as per what I've seen as of 5:26PM. Could be possible they added more ontop of it.

The way the "houses" are described makes me think if the format for these attractions will be similar to Poseidon's Fury, but obviously on a smaller budget/scale.
