I assume the entrance will be there. That doesn't mean the actual experience will be.

Did everyone forget that the Evil Dead Rise and A Quiet Place queues snaked back through to this area? There isn't a lot of queue space at The Walking Dead building if they're using the bulk of the facility for the experience/backstage needs. I assume the line will take advantage of the Despicable Me and Secret Life of Pets overflow queue areas.

I thought SLOP was open durning this event unliek HHN? Not that they can't do both since they can just stop people at SLOP area and and then let you go to the next area in the Q

This kinda scares me then....if they think they need this much Q...how the heck are people with normal tickets suppose to do anything? HHN line that long would take like over 2 hours if it snaked that far back and thats one attraction

By the sounds of what the Star Trek experience will be like, there’s no way it’s gonna be inside. Why would they not use a big empty building with a queue when it’s right there? This has got to be queue work.

Well what's important is that we panic before we know the situation.

lol

I mean, I'm not panicking but I've gone to HHN and know how they treat normal guests....so yeah

I mean USH also just had Vloggers there, why not tell them how the process works

Tickets are on sale, I don't think its crazy to know whats happening with how these attractions works....they are taking people in groups which has never been done before at any HHN event Ive been to before so yes, I would like more info on how many of these attractions Q's will work

A certain number of guests will be admitted to the experience in waves, subject to the capacity limitations/show quality expectations of the experience. If there are more people in line than they are slots for the next wave, the excess number of guests will wait in the experience queue until the next wave begins and more slots become available. A second line of guests with express access will receive priority, likely with some approximate ratio of express to standby guests. An estimate for how long Universal ops expects the queue to take for standby guests should be posted at the end of the queue.

There you go!

Question since I'm trying to plan what date works best to go with a group I'm planning with, but have crowds for HHN historically spiked on the final weekend or are crowds just consistently high throughout the event?

I'm contemplating May 16th as a possible date, but I wonder if it might be best to avoid the final weekend if I can help it if there really is a crowd influx.

HHN crowds historically spike at the end as it's closer to Halloween, this event won't have that dynamic this year. Memorial Day is around the corner, but shouldn't impact the last week.

I'd definitely avoid the first weekend, too many bugs to work out that first weekend that will iron out in the 2nd week.

I just wonder if there could be procrastinators contributing to the final weekend crowds, especially since both events are designed around being held once a year with no guarantee of the same offerings returning next year.

They added an extra night that wasn't a part of the original dates: May 15th. I wonder if that's it or if they'll keep adding more dates before it ends on the 18th. Tickets must be selling decently!

Right, it's so predictable. They planned and went to the trouble of inviting witches with the power of flight and godlike pirates that defy the laws of physics and anatomy as special guests, and people in this thread are wringing their hands and acting like Universal won't be pulling out all the stops for the first *Star Trek Experience* at Universal Studios Hollywood with an honest to goodness transporter room to take you directly from wherever the queue is to the beginning of the attraction, so it literally wouldn't matter even if the queue started in the Lower Lot. I wish they honestly would do that just to flex on the unbelievers.

Seriously, get it together, people.
