I also could not at all tell wtf was going on in the billboard. Kinda worries me that this will be an issue for cars, it looks like this is visible from the 15?

I really hope I'm wrong, but I still do not see how this is going to be ready to open so soon. Or if it does open (I suppose it sort of has to somehow since they've already sold tickets), that not all elements will be ready on opening day.

How much work is going on internally? That feels like the more important factor.

The fact that every piece of promotional material they've put out for this is using footage from older mazes, as well as the fact they only seem to show promotional artwork with the opening barely months away, is a bit concerning to me. The building may be done, and for all we know, the interior is done. But the outside of the building, the sidewalks, pathways, fences, exterior, giant piles of dirt... I don't know.

I mean, I get that even if it is complete inside, you may not want to give much away. But not even, like, a single prop in place? The store? The bar? Anything, even if it's out of focus?

Universal does seem pretty confident to keep pumping this up. But I'll believe it when I see it. To me, it looks like a lot of stuff that needs to be done is probably stuff that Universal may not be directly in control of.

And if anyone has visited the area, the roads all around it are in terrible condition. Hope they get to fix those up before it opens, but I don't see how that can happen as well.

If Universal wasn’t ready to open, hiring would have paused and they likely would have pushed back opening. This is a unique situation where, because it’s a new market without any direct competition, they have flexibility. And they’re still hiring/auditioning and promoting with the planned opening date. As such, we have to assume they’ll be ready. The lack of publicity photos isn’t all that surprising either, they still have time.

The unique aspect of all of this is that the vast majority of the construction we can see isn’t actually Universal. It’s all Area 15’s. HU is, conceptually if not actually, an anchor tenet for a larger complex. That larger complex will NOT be complete until, probably, early 2026. This is the most important thing to remember when looking at “construction photos” of the location. The majority of the construction is largely unrelated to HU.

HU will be fine. Getting to Universal’s building maybe a hassle for a few months, but once you’re through those doors it should be a good time.

I mean, if people can't get there easy....I think this is a big deal

Why Would I go to USH or anything if they didn't have enough parking? This is not a one time thing but a new place to go and if I can't find parking I can tell you word will spread fast to wait and go next year

If thats what Universal wants cool...but feels like poor planning not to have the parking ready for this, especially with Halloween around the corner. I feel like its going to just upset guests going to Area 15 or HU

I've never driven in Vegas and don't plan to. As long as they've got that rideshare dropoff squared away, I'll be happy.

Even if I have to do some unpleasant walking on the side of a pedestrian-unfriendly road, that would be par for the course for Vegas.

Yes, since I was a kid

I drive to it now and been to Area 15 a bunch of times its off the strip and the parking was easy the times I've gone

So whats the spin on why its a good thing not to have parking ready for this when it opens?

Well, aren't you sassy...

The point is that Vegas relies on tourists, which means it relies on ride shares, taxis, etc. Just pointing out that it's not that big of a problem.

It should be noted... there is a parking garage. It isn't open yet (surprise, surprise!), but even I would think/hope it would be open by the time Unleashed opens.
