You’ve got arches, they’re just filigree instead of heavy plaster:

Yes don’t love that compared to earlier concept.

Regarding the Chronos....once again the teal green color is bugging me. Seems like a rich dark green, blue or bronze would have been better and made the other elements "pop" more visually.

Color taste is very personal so I'm not at all suggesting you are "wrong" about your preference. But as far as an explanation, I think the green color is not meant to be a "paint choice" but is inspired by the natural "verdigris" (green color from oxidation) that forms on old copper and brass. Examples are the Statue of Liberty and countless metal spires, roofs, and monuments in old cities. This also would be the inspiration for the roof and dome colors throughout Celestial Park.

Have to wait and see how it looks at ground level. Not thousands of feet above from the sky.

Since I’ll be staying at Helios I won’t likely see it unless I go out of my way anyway

That makes sense. I'm sure it was done for a reason....and your explanation sounds very plausible. I still don't like it and to me it doesn't mimic the "aged bronze" very well. That being said.....we are getting an overload of it from the aerial shots by bioreconstruct. I'm sure that it will not be as noticeable or overbearing as it seems right now.

With more and more photos starting to come out revealing the park, it's time to distance from these threads to avoid spoilers.

Been quite a ride following all the Epic news, thank you everyone. See you in the cosmos!

I think the open feeling makes more sense since it’s not the park’s entry— just a symbolic gateway

In my opinion, Celestial Park is all about the visibility throughout the park. I’m glad the arches have been changed; they won’t block the view.

I love the statues and the green, it's unique to this theme park and reminds me of the Guardians of Traffic in Cleveland.

I still want to know what the heck they were going for with the original berm near Stardust Racers. Nothing like that appeared in the model or concept art but somewhere out there there's a final design of what was intended to be in that spot. I doubt we'll ever find out and it appears Universal sent that idea to a farm upstate.

I think it'll look better once it's done and all the artistic details are in place. The dark gradient on the right side does a nice job breaking up the single color appearance and gives the tower some depth. Please share what you think once you get a chance to see it how it's meant to be seen. :)

On a related note, I thought the colors on Stardust Racers were odd but they've grown on me since.

The berm was in the fly through renders. I think it was maybe intended to block something outside the park, maybe the Orlando Eye? Would have to see the view from the ground to be sure though.

It’s wild how it feels from above we’ve seen everything, but we’ve really seen nothing.

Man this park is going to be popular. Likely UOR ‘s “Magic Kingdom”. The firework show is going to cement it as a night time park as well. Wonder if it will indeed stay open later then both IOA and UOR
