The hotel is a weenie. For better or worse, I can see Cinderella Castle from “certain angles” in some lands too. Like I said, it’s not like a giant show building cube always visible from World Showcase or something. It’s a pretty building meant to be seen from within the park, and sometimes it will be.

Now I wonder how well the backstage side of Oak & Star looks personally from Dark Universe. To me that’s the sort of thing I’m curious about.

Exactly! And think of it the other way around: the appeal of staying at the Helios Grand Hotel is that you have views of the park. So it works both ways.

The Helios Grand Hotel is being marketed as being "connected to Epic Universe" with "views of the park" (you can specifically select park view rooms when booking). The hotel even boasts a rooftop bar with 360 degree views. So if you can see the park from the hotel, you're going to see the hotel from inside the park. The hotel itself is themed and fits into the overall celestial theme of the park so what's the issue?

Please tell me we'll be getting scented bathrooms like in IOA

Yes, scented bathrooms and from what I've heard, the whole park may be scented like a bathroom at some times due to maintenance at the nearby sewage treatment plant. So you need to be careful not just where you "go" but when you "go"!
