Now that the construction thread is closed just thought I would say a quick thanks to all that contributed their inside info or in general for sourcing the latest updates so we had one spot to check everyday for the very latest, thoroughly enjoyed it. Look forward to seeing the expansion and when they start it would be nice for mods to add a dedicated thread for VB expansion construction...

Also After catching up on all the opening photos, first impressions from the ground... INCREDIBLE, looks stunning and despite there needing to be plenty of finishing touches added Universal have made what looks to be an amazing park and will only get better, desperately want to visit again now, best get saving!

I love the fog effects on the slide but the jaded part of me wonders if they'll be on all the time or if they'll be selective of when they use them.

Saw them this morning. Awesome!
The Maori dancing from the men is my favorite of all the Polynesian dances (maybe second to the hip shaking Tahitian women)- they beat their chest HARD, stick out their tongues and bug out their eyes. It's cool.
Another fun fact- that's who moana's people were based on as her dad and family akk had New Zealand accents, dances, and tattoos.
