I think a thrilling dark-ride would be nice. Maybe you could time travel to save a dinosaur and.... Oh wait. Thinking of ideas to base a ride off of is hard, especially off of dinosaurs because almost everything interesting has been done already...

Thats not a bad idea. Where is there a ride to save a dinosaur?

Well they have the in a tour and dinos almost get you story, but what if they took the ride in the direction of the 2nd film, where the main villains are the poachers. We're on an educational tour when we realize they're capturing dinos to make money and we have to save the day. Or something along those lines.

That is exactly how I feel. IOA is a great park but it's not a full day park. It can't keep me busy very long unless I re-ride attractions repeatedly and don't have Express. With the on-site room key, you can hit all the major attraction in less than 3 hours.

It is a full day park to regular guest. So what you are saying is that they should cater to people who only use express or stay on site?

Yeahh....NO

Ohhh, the ride is so intense that I've never been able to follow the story line while on the ride.

Me too. It could really add some foot traffic to that area and make it worth of a real land. Along with whatever else is rumored to go over there. Universal could use a flying coaster (Smooth Like Manta).

It's only appropriate, I think IOA needa a different style coaster. Way too many sit down coasters at the resort period (Just my opinion). I think it'll be a nice addition and if your going to do a Jurassic Park theme, it's only right. May as well go all out. It doesn't even have to be some giant coaster, I just don't like the fact that for most people there is only one ride over there. Unless you are with a person challenged by height, you will not be able to ride the flyers. I have never been able to ride the flyers and it looks really amazing to glide over the land and area.

As long as it does not ruin any sight lines I am fine with it...JP is supposed to feel very secluded..I realize HP sort of changed that, but the back half still feels like a jungle to me

Well looking at google maps it would be very difficult to put a roller coaster back there without tearing out a good chunk of the land and being visible inside toon lagoon

The flying coaster idea reminds of the Big Bad Wolf that used to be at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Something like that, with some awesome theming, it could be a huge hit. Have a freefall type drop like this into the lagoon

I honestly think something like this could work for IOA. Im not forcing the idea on anyone, but it's just some "On the fly" concept I thought of after reviewing the thread. Plus I remember reading something about a "Rocky the Flying Squirrel" coaster between JP and Toon Lagoon..

I wouldn't want to destroy the land at all. I like the Jungle feel.

Where did he say that? Roll is saying that they should add more to flesh out a person's stay at the resort, not cater to Express holders....

You could probably build a roller coaster in the old Triceratops Encounter area. I'm in favor of an Ironman coaster/ride in Marvel if they had the room & the rights.

As much as I would love to see another roller coaster built I would almost rather see them build some sort of family dark ride in IOA first, something along the lines of Cat in the Hat. Now thats the parent in me talking. The roller coaster junky in me says F it and build a mega lite or something sweet

I don't think the park should build anymore mega coasters like Dragons, Rockit, or Hulk. While they're nice (aside from Rockit) they're from a bygone era when Universal needed the quick, obvious thrill to attract people.

I'm all for new coasters, but I think they should serve a premium experience as well as thrill.
