It's just the lands have become so boring, minus Harry Potter. I guess just since its been what, 12 years now, and I don't think there have been that many additions, if any. (with the except of Harry). I love Universal Orlando, by far my favorite theme park destination. I just think they need to start reinventing the wheel over at IOA as well. Granted, I guess it takes time since practically the entire Studios is under construction (WHICH I LOVE).

But there are some attractions that could easily go and make way for something new.

IoA lands are based off of literary properties.

I think everything is fine save for Toon Lagoon and Lost Continent. JP and Seuss will be getting additions in the next few years. Marvel could use something, but I don't know if that'll ever happen.

Well, Lost Continent is practically nothing. Its just a wasted space that should be demolished for a new land. Yeah Marvel would be nice if they got rid of that stupid thing, i think its called GForce Acceleration?

I really don't get why everyone is so quick to axe Lost Continent. Aside from Potter, it competes for the best themed land in the park, and has some original ideas.

Now, both Poseidon and Sinbad need reworking, and I wouldn't mind seeing Sinbad replaced with a ride, but honestly I don't want Lost Continent gone.

I'd agree with you. Besides never wanting Mythos to go away, I like the general idea of the land and there really are a lot of options out there to expand it.

Poseidon can be fixed. Sinbad just needs to be put out of it's own misery. Which is a shame, because the source material is so much more fun.

Not lost continent. And honestly I think it's just a coincidence. Plus movies weren't as huge back then, and there wasn't nearly as many movies based off books then there are now. And I don't think they would care to hold true to that all that much anyways.

Besides covering up the hideous and blatant FJ showbuilding, IoA needs something more for families. Sure they have kid's rides, but there's not a lot that a whole family can do together, or at least enjoy--something along the lines of Pirates or Haunted Mansion, just a quality dark ride that appeals to everyone, and also isn't themed to being attacked by bad guys which seems to be an eminent theme at IoA. I know there's stuff allegedly being planned but concepts and actual projects are two very different things so I remain skeptical. But first and foremost, hide that ugly showbuilding.

This this this. We don't need more coasters or thrill rides, at least not right now.

Things are definitely changing at Universal. The focus is no longer on E-tickets, but rather overall experience and family attractions, I see many new dark rides/family rides in our future

Well...they're building 3 E-tickets right now.

Also, the FJ show building is an over blown problem. There are bigger fish to fry.

These are my suggestions for future improvement,
stuntshow
In Toon Lagoon, Enclose the theatre, like the Theater in the Wild at AK, and put a Cirque like show themed to the Cartoons. This not only would be a great way to control crowds, but a 20 minute AC show in the summer would be popular.

In Jurassic Park, redo the Thunder Terrace Restaurant as a sit down restaurant with animated dinosaurs. There needs to be more exposure of dinosaurs

In Seuss Landing, add some crazy themed Seuss Bumper Cars. No park in Orlando has Bumper cars.

The Lost Continent needs a major upgrade. I would tear down the theatre and add a GCI custom coaster. I would also change Poseidons Fury into a Dark Ride. Keep the outside of the building, it's awesome.

That'd be good. Right now, I've heard that the building is currently considered unusable by UO for reasons that weren't disclosed to me. So redoing it would be necessary either way.

That's an idea that I just happen to really, really love.

That's because bumper cars have a HIGH upkeep and are bad for insurance and guest injury. No thanks.

Agreed. It does need a revamp. I don't want it rethemed, at least not when they could retheme Toon Lagoon to something cooler. Poseidon's Fury would be a really awesome dark ride. Maybe not a coaster, but something brand new. Probably won't happen, though. Poseidon's currently closed for catwalk upgrades and there's no reason to upgrade catwalks if you were going to rip them out soon.
