Universal is planning on limiting it to 1 one-way journey per day during peak times. Peak can be assigned to any day, at any time, for any reason. There is no list of which days will be Peak or not.

It says that additional rides will be handled on a stand-by basis. But without an express line, wouldn't it all technically be stand-by?

Sounds completely reasonable to me when stated like that.

Why would one visit any Orlando theme park at any other time if you had the choice?

The question I have with all of this is when will the decision be made as to if a specific day will be a "peak day" or not. Wouldn't that need to be made before the day starts. But then what if the wait times are low, would that not be in effect then? And then how will the park visitors know if they can ride the express multiple times or not. And furthermore what about in the mornings where wait times are usually less than the mid day times, will it be in effect then?

If they are going to do something like this, I feel like they need to make it more known to the public and make it clear to try and avoid MORE complaints. It will be interesting to see what happens with this.

Those will be the last thing installed on the dragon the mesh will have to come down first. I will be heading out there later today or tomorrow to get some new photos.

I was referring to VS going for the grand opening, or going sooner due to wanting to ride ASAP. But yeah, I prefer to wait then be told how many times I can ride in one day. Part of paying a LARGE front entrance free is the ability to ride as much and whatever you want.

Are we really freaking out about a ride's capacity that's about the same as Splash Mountain? I remember the 3-hour+ waits for that when it opened but I don't think it was the end of the world.

Uh, Splash's OHRC is 1800, which is what Gringotts will end up being.

Hogwarts Express is significantly lower than that.

They have a fabric covered box around it.Like the ground cover fabric /mesh .
You can see the tail sticking up above it.
If you sit a the last few table in Springfield in front of Comic shop facade You will see it great.

Whoops. Got 'em mixed up. So if we're looking at an OHRC of 1200, that's comparable to what?

1/2 of Space Mountain. On a good day. Close to Midway Mania, but with an even bigger demand.

However, I was told by a certain notable on this site that they will attempt to allow standing room only in each compartment... That will be interesting.

They've already confirmed all guests will be seated during the attraction.

Its a little unfair to compare to Disney attractions. What is HE comparable to at Universal? That would provide a more clear idea of what to expect as far as lines go considering Universal is much smaller than Disney and has more attractions than DHS or AK.
