Wait, so is the idea that we're gonna have new Sprung Tents to replace the existing ones? What's the status on the showbuilding being built by MiB? Is that for HHN use, or something else entirely? Is this a temporary solution between the existing Sprungs and that new building?

Since we're seemingly losing both parade buildings for this year, instead we get another two sprungs? Hell yeah, seems like a fair trade to me!

Although looking at that aerial image, I'm already dreading the walks. And we thought the current walks to the back houses were bad? LOL

Def too early for Spec so let’s hold off for a couple weeks - but when the time comes, I would not use Ripley’s tweet as a starting point for Spec.

The Parade buildings are out, due to needing them for actual use. So they're replacing that.

Well that's... kinda 1/4? FNaF doesn't seem likely, and 11 houses very much doesn't seem likely.

Let's see if Jack vs Oddfellow will still pan out, or if they'll wait for an anniversary year (which I personally hope for).

My overall point is there is still a lotta time left in Spec - and well, I don't want any future chaos stemming from a Ripley rumor.

He posted that in October, and besides the tents, which he was wrong about, the event's line-up isn't even close to being finalized. There's A LOT of time for things to go awry.

And at the time of him posting the info, they weren't close to even locking up half of the line-up, let alone 10 - so there was no way to know house count and original house plans.

It is just the two structures which has no bearing on potential long-term expansion,, as those plans barely exist currently,

So already mapping out the logistics of how exactly entries and exits will work for the Sprungs, and I have created this perfect artistic rendition:

-Sprung 3 enters by FFL (Bugs/Oddfellow)
-Sprung 2 enters by MIB (Darkest)
-Sprung 1 enters by Coke (TLoU)
-Sprung 4 enters through DreamWorks Theater (Weeknd)

Purple: Entry walk to Sprung 3
Red: Entry walk to Sprung 2
Green: Entry walk to Sprung 1
Blue: Entry walk to Sprung 4
Black: Exit from Sprung 1/2
Violet: Exit from Sprung 3/4

Yeah, it really shouldn't be a surprise that with a new parade on the way, they were gonna' have to use the parade buildings for their original purpose. As UTH tour guides have joked, it's been an amusing situation where they would build a parade building because they needed the space, and A&D would go "Gee, that's a nice big building, would be great to host a HHN house.", only for them to build another parade building and A&D goes "Gee, that's a nice big building..." Something would have to bend or break eventually.

Only thing I'm not looking forward to is the hikes, this would be an opportune moment to see if the logistics work out where they can do a portal backstage and all the entrances and exits are in that backstage section so you don't have to renter the park for every individual house. (Best example is what Knott's Scary Farm does for the four backstage houses in Ghost Town.)

Side note: I happened to look at one of my "memories" posted on this date in 2017, and it was HHN announcing dates for that year. Just sayin.

Other new building? If you’re referring to the permit that was filed/discussed late last year, this is the same one. It was for these Sprungs.

Assuming if I am wrong (which I do sometimes have the habit of being); my mind leaned ironically to this:


Queue setups:
Light Green - B-138B = Starts next to Kung Fu Panda
Light Orange - Sprung 1 = Starts next to (And goes through) Trolls; returning to older setups (albeit with the walking platform)
Cyan - Sprung 2 = Starts next to MIB Gift Shop, returning to older formats (albeit with the walking platform)
Bright Red = B-138A = Starts next to FFL
Dark Green = Exits: All Connect in one fixed exit, connecting and leading to Coke Freestyle

Given the lengths of travel, Mind leans to think they'd want to have a setup that would allow them to easily get people out through one straight method, and not separating (but once again, can be total idiot).

Edit: Was brought up aspects by friends and colleagues, and I present a version 2:


Major change is to have two entrances near the coke, almost as a return to older operation styles for the sake of it. But otherwise; it's about similar just with two different exits (With B-138 exiting out through Trolls)

It would--but given what I have understood; it sounds like Sprungs 1/2 are getting problematic as it is in the terms of congestion. The alternative while genuinely flat out insane, would pretty much mean you have to make a commitment for B138's houses (specifically, B138A's).
