I wish even that effect worked reliably. I've seen it many times just blank.

Thanks. I thought the fog screen just went blank when the camera didn't work.

I often have had it where that camera does not work and always I just see a blank fog. Actually, I have barely ever had it where it works properly, people on the two middle seats sometimes show up, end seats almost never.

You have to be looking pretty much straight into the camera for the facial recognition software to capture your face. If you are looking to the side when the photo is taken it won't display your face.

The only time the death eaters are shown is when the camera isn't working at all.

I saw the effect for the first time about a year ago and have only seen it a total of 5 times probably. I was super surprised the first time though ;)

I recently had a new idea why a few might be getting so sick on this ride. First I went to the warning postings and saw that it doesn't mention that which I was concerned about.

o.jpg

The warning that this sign does not contain that is prevalent on Mission Space is to keep your head and eyes facing forward at all times. The reason of course is because turning ones head to the side will betray the direction that you thought you were going and in turn, really mess up your head. I believe that this may well be true on the bowl screens despite how slowly they might be moving sideways. Any amount would tend to screw with the brain.

Just a thought.

Anyone fancy another Butterbeer flavored treat? I'm sure the Minister would approve.

ButterBEER.

So, this is a fun development: I rode Forbidden Journey today, and the dragon is completely missing! Just a big, black tarp where it used to be. Also, every physcial scene before the Forbidden Forest has had it's lighting altered to be brighter...what, is everyone going to be wearing sunglasses on this ride pretty soon?

Lol, that's one way to confuse all the first time riders even more than they already were. "What? Its dark, it was just daytime. Oh, so there's a dragon I see, with that little wing there. Wait?! Where the hell is the dragon, and why am I being jiggled next to a black tarp?" Anyways, I'm sure it will be back soon, hopefully with full movement.

Has this happened before? The dragon is one of my favorite parts of the ride, I hope it comes back soon.

Remember, the ride's been open for 5 years.

Probably out for some maintenance

Hopefully it's a version of Butterbeer ice cream that's actually good

I bet $1 it's an alcoholic version of Butter Beer of some sort. Shot, actual beer, mixed drink, slushie, etc.

Is that going to be in for where that Extended line was in Diagon that's getting renovated then?

Possibly. Our guess was the replacement for Shutterbuttons being a candy shop. The Eeylops extended queue we thought would be rerouted to Florean's.

During those first few days of opening, did the parking garages ever max out? I don't recall. I only know that IOA did.

Won't happen, JK is allegedly against the idea, which has been pitched before.
