Well, rumor has it with the upcoming NX announcement, that Nintendo is taking the stage at E3 again this year after forgoing the last few in favor of extended Direct Video presentations. If that's the case, I could see them inviting UC on stage on doing a announcement there. It's major platform for this kind of announcement, at least within the gaming community who make up a decent percentage fans who would go crazy for Nintendo Land.

But they didn't sit on the news last year, so we could very well see something soon after its finalized and signed if they so please.

I personally doubt you'd ever see this stuff at E3's mainstage, though who knows. Nintendo is weird

Well, the last year Nintendo was on the E3 stage they took about 15 minutes to let an orchestra play and announce a "Legend Of Zelda" touring orchestra show... Nintendo certainly doesn't play things like other big gaming companies, that's for sure.

To agree with @JungleSkip; it wouldn't make sense in my book to announce the theme park offerings at E3, as it'd possibly steal away time that the NX needs. Granted, Nintendo is quirky at E3, so anything can happen; but i'd see them focusing time on something that is major that's for this year.

I do think we are getting the reveal of Nintendo very soon though for the three big ones; as It makes sense.

I never even considered that. Nintendo really needs the NX to gain a lot of positive buzz come E3. They can't afford another WiiU debacal.

The two areas are very similar in size. I could see identical rides and just about the same layout.

I was going to say Wrong scale, but you beated me to it.

Why do I have a feeling, with all the space they have, that they may be getting the better rendition? It makes sense, considering Japan is the birthplace of Nintendo; but its interesting to say the least.

It was off, but not by a bunch. It was only 6%. I thought it would have been more. Where its now has the same scaling. For some reason it looks off, but the Google bar matches.

Remember, Mario Kart is a multi-level attraction.

Do you know if this is one level the queue the other level the attraction? Or the attraction itself taking up multiple levels?

Lance is reporting again that 2018 will be the date for Nintendosaka..which goes against the rumor of 2020.

I'll leave it there, unless you want me to rant on him shortening the leaked size that included Space Fantasy to that.

I thought 2020 is what was just confirmed and no longer a rumor.

Lance is mentioning that in his rumor, 2020 was the date but 2018 would be it..Once again; its Screamscape. Its best not to believe in them, especially in this one.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to put the Space fantasy vehicle on a kuka arm with a roller coaster track? I think with the use of kuka you can add the feeling of weightlessness which space fantasy currently doesn't have and also make it way more interactive as if you as so close to the stars you can touch and move from planet to planet and switch gravity.

In theory, yes. Will they do it? Probably not. They have the technology offered by dynamic attractions but I really don't see them doing it. Here's a video incase you're curios:

Quinn was mainly asking if they could hook a car from SF onto a Kuka arm, as I'm wondering if that attraction will be heading out to accommodate room for Nintendo.

I think it would be logical to think that SF is leaving if its an 8 acre project. But, that's for the USJ thread to debate.

So if Japan is getting it in 2020, where does that leave Orlando? Are they getting it after, or is Japan not getting it first anymore?

Interesting to see both plots being a similar size and area, but why wouldn't you clone them if you can like the Hogsmeade's and just add a few unique things. Because that strategy has certainly worked well there.

I'd say if Nintendo has creative control they'll differentiate because their whole business model is based on Japan and America being treated like two different planets.

Let me just say that Universal needs to go all out with this. Nintendo Land has been so many peoples dreams. You go to the Nitendo Store in NYC and see people spending hundreds of dollars on shirts, stuffed pokemons, etc. The store just reopened about two weeks ago and the line stretched down blocks. How many children do you see in that line?

This area needs to satisfy children and adults. This has the potential to be bigger than Harry Potter.
