That's my thoughts on it. I'm looking forward to this more than I am F&F.

I'm not completely sold on the Kuka system yet as I always feel a bit sick after HP and that rarely happens but I think it's more to do with the projections than the movement.

I think they'll both be good but I don't have the anticipation with them like I did for Potter. Which I'm happy for because that means no disappointments like I had with Gringotts.

I would love to see Kuka in a purely physical environment, playing around with all of its capabilities of "thrusting" you in, out, and around spaces.

Which ride are we referring to when we're mentioning Kuka?

That's the plaza stage side of the building, no? I'm Guessing new queue overhang and then they'll finally reroute the in/out to exit at the Library area and kill that dead spot.

That's the NY side, the grey spot without paint shaped like a triangle is where the Twister entrance used to be.

Looks to be the start of the 30 Roc facade! Anyone know if it will wrap around to the Prod Central side?

The tall part will by 1/3. The rest will be first story stuff with the Rock style.

Everything looks smaller when compared to the big blue sky of the world. If that building was closed up and you stood inside, it would appear massive and cavernous.

I have a cool little illusion I like to pull driving friends down a tree lined street towards a massive cruise ship in the bay in the small opening in the trees at the far end. I tell them I am going to make it shrink 50% before their eyes. Sure enough, the closer we get to the opening at the end and more and more sky, the ship shrinks to half it's size. In the full open sky, it appears relatively puny.

Anyone know if they are going to hide the soundstage with the new facade? Not that Universal would ever expose such a thing...just curious

Not the whole thing, I don't think. The facade will be significantly better than the previous one, but there will still be soundstage viewable

Have a bad feeling about this.. It'll probably just look like a show building & not a soundstage... The thing that made the exposed building fine with Twister is that it was themed to a soundstage & not trying to immerse you in New York. For all I know they still might be trying to go for the soundstage look with this?

Are they going to get (at least part of) the facade up quicker than the rest? It would make it look a lot better, even if they are still working inside.

i think this might just be one of universal quick attractions.Kinda like how Disney throws up flat rides like spinners or basic roller-coasters.And no that's not a stab at toy story-land.

Unlike Disney, Universal is going through a bit of a transformation..just without calling it that...I do find the fact that this is taking until 2017 somewhat significant
