Just because it's a turd; it doesn't mean that it can't be shiny..

..and yes, I know I said that and trust me; I am having a hard time not laughing as I post those beautiful words..

Now can we get a second confirmation on that so we can discuss this with some certainty. Anyone have any solid info that would back this up?

Personally, I'd rather see a Black Mamba style invert from Phantasialand instead of a sit-down. If a sit-down, they could also channel Helix from Liseberg. I can't see them extending DC as it is fairly well packed in there and inverts take up some room. I still would think that the most likely replacement, if one were to happen, would involve a single track coaster (could be thrill or more family oriented) and a dark ride so as to maximize the land.

Since you deleted everything I'll just put this USJ concept back up since it was the most interesting thing we got out of all that.

Anyone know any details other than the fact it was indoors? @JungleSkip? @Teebin? @testtrack321?

If I was to guess; that's probably one of the reason's why I guess this didn't happen for USJ; because they may of feared that the ride may be too similar to Hollywood Dream in-terms of possible intensity and the trains.

But the he trains front has purple and white dots that look like small lights. The train seats are also yellow. I think this it. It looks identical, even the colors.

As I said; USJ's team probably got worried that it'd be too similar to Hollywood Dream, as that as far as I can see; that may be more..common for Japan.

I'm fully aware of what the HD trains look like.

As I said, USJ's operations team and creative team probably got worried that it'd be too similar too Hollywood Dream, in essence.

Dude, the train in the picture even has 9 rows. This is the hollywood dream. Just compare both pics and they are both exactly the same.

It doesn't matter on train size. It would probably use similar ride system to the B&M Hyper of Hollywood Dream, using Dark Ride Elements and all indoors. To be perfectly honest, that's why I suspect that being the DC replacement as A.); It's B&M. B.); it'd have a higher capacity than Mako and C.) It's something that Universal Creative can resurrect it's plans of very easily; to get it at the parks faster.

Unless B&M has an exclusivity contract with SWO for the time being on the Hyper Coaster style for Orlando; this could be the easiest move that Universal Creative can make in-terms of implementing a ride concept that they made use out of in essence.

Look up the coaster Karnan. It is Gerstlauer but that isn't the main point. The lift is a vertical lift built into a tower. A properly themed tower like this would be an interesting way to hide a lift hill of any significant height. For B&M, they could build just about anything. Nemesis, invert in England, has a low footprint but packs a wallop. Just once, I'd be interested to see an invert that focuses more on drops and close calls than loops. Of course, a nice floorless or the newer trains from B&M provide the same feeling many times.

Karanan also has something else in particular; within the vertical lift, near the top; it stops and then sends you down the vertical lift with a sudden and fast speed. That then launches to the full on coaster element.

I think B&M, if they we're given the chance; could do a dark coaster on the level of Mummy, especially when you look at attractions like Nemesis, Hulk, and so on; giving in an immersive environment in a way while being a kicka** thrill coaster that is loved by many.

I'm really hoping this is the plan too. It also adds another ride that won't close due to weather in IoA which is always a good thing. Now all we need is the rumored Avengers ride over Dr. Doom.

I started to point out Nemesis as it has a low elevation due to neighboring restrictions. I thought Karnan was Intamin early on but it turned out to be Gerstlauer. Really, B&M can pretty much do whatever you ask of them, if you're willing to pay for it.
