Future of Dragon Challenge?

I meant no insult to any of the Potter rides with what I would personally label it. To me the only somewhat intense rides in both parks are Hulk, Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rocket, and Dragons.

For me, it's all about expectations. I expect that those three rides will be intense because I can see the entire track and they're roller coasters. I don't expect the "Harry Potter ride" to be intense

Aren't the other ones not Vekoma? I would think if they made that change they could have very well made them non indoors as well.

The only one that is a Mack Powerstar is the Hollywood version, and it shows.

Osaka and Orlando are Vekoma.

VB's opening had nothing to do with Pandora. The bosses wanted it open for Memorial Day, so they opened it for Memorial Day.

Of course they're going to say that. They could have just as easily opened it on the 4th of July, especially when they knew it wasn't going to be finished in time for Memorial Day. If Pandora opened July 4th weekend, so would have VB.

Yea, no. For one, Uni announced VB's opening date before Disney announced Avatar's. Secondly, the two things are not the same kind of draws. One opening had nothing to do with the other's.

If it's at the back of house, that means I won't be able to get some snapshots myself from the queue or exit areas, huh? Was thinking of popping in tomorrow to see what I can see.

So, this isn't something under the coaster, but instead something behind the building then? My misunderstanding.

Behind Dragons is an access road and the dumpsters. There's not much going on in that area. It's flanked on the side toward USF by a water chiller and some portable that house landscaping and such.

If they did do a project that alters the area it's likely that the stage would get a proper green room, ops would get a better break space, and a few other things that might result in the road being redirected.

They did that behind toon lagoon theater before? I know there has been more buzz about DC but it is a long time coming. Hope it is "soon"

I'm completely out of the loop. Unfortunately, I always become friends with people in the biz and then I feel like I would be abusing the friendship to continually ask, ask, ask. So, I will be surprised just like some of you, and will appreciate any inside scoops provided by others on here.

Of course, it's always possible, (and don't hate me for this folks,) that there actually is no loop to be in. Maybe, just maybe, there's not actually any plans for a Dragon Challenge replacement?

Fun to imagine what could be done in that space of course. But I'm gonna lessen my hope until we get any inside info, an official announcement, or see some walls go up. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

Of course, a bunch of little orange flags all around the coaster footers would be a great sign of something going on. That might get me excited again.
