It definitely won't be a giga or even hyper coaster though, don't think JK Rowling would approve at all. Only way they might get one would be if its Lost Continent themed but some of you are saying the Forbidden Forest might start taking over that area. So yes probably no coaster that exceeds 30mph

I don't think we get anything of substance in 2019, but we'll see.

And don't get me wrong, I could see it; but to me, because it is going to replace a coaster and not an entire land, especially if it closes on Labor Day weekend; I can see a Summer 2019 for the Forbidden Forest. I think 2020 would be better for another project for Islands, one that I think is going to happen sooner than later.

So the consensus is still 2021 for Nintendo then, and to have 2019 and 2020 for IOA additions? The 2020 addition I am guessing is either Marvel or Seuss?

Survey markers. Could mean anything from a new giga to utility work.

Now if someone could just sneak a camera on the ride and get pics.... lol

Yeah sounds about right. I assume the plans are still in flux, so that could easily change.

I'll repeat, I do not expect anything of consequence in 2019

I would like to point out that Mummy can reach launch speed for Hollywood is about 45 MPH. And that, from what Dynamic is saying; the SFX Coaster could have a launch that goes over 60 MPH.

And as I said, I wouldn't be surprised; but I do hope that's not the case.

If 2019 is a slow year, with some changes for infastructure here and there to prepare for Nintendo and the new Forbidden Forest expansion.

The scuttlebutt is more or less they want to completely get out of the way of Star Wars. Whether it's a good or bad idea I don't know, but it is what it is.

I agree with it. It would be a good year to catch up on refurbs and any overdue maintenance.

Yes but Mummy isn't a Harry Potter themed ride and I don't doubt the ability of the SFX Coaster at all it is more what will Rowling approve of. I thought the Harry Potter rides were trying to stay pretty mild?

But they had no problem opening a still unfinished waterpark the same weekend as Pandora. You can never win with these people.

VB's opening had nothing to do with Pandora. The bosses wanted it open for Memorial Day, so they opened it for Memorial Day.

To me, Calling Forbidden Journey a mild attraction is a disgrace.

I would argue that Hippogriff is more themed than Dragon Challenge. Plus, it helps offset the land itself.

And it already existed in the first land. For the others they were just cloned and she was ok with the execution. I can't see her approving one outright from scratch.

I meant no insult to any of the Potter rides with what I would personally label it. To me the only somewhat intense rides in both parks are Hulk, Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rocket, and Dragons.
