Yup before June even hit lol.

On the plus side, at least this should hopefully make the team members' jobs easier for managing guests.

Of course! Haven't heard anything on shows as of now, unfortunately.

I timed my vacation perfectly. My guesses on restrictions being lifted worked out perfectly, and the gamble played well. I would have been miserable if I had to wear a mask indoors and outdoors in that Florida heat. 15 days and counting. LOVE the vaccine.

Not sure about going back at this point. Way too soon. Even being fully vaccinated, I don't feel comfortable sitting next to someone who is not vaccinated, not wearing a mask, and may have covid-19.

Yikes, yeah...I think I am going to skip out this summer and hope things are still going well by the time of HHN. I think they could have waited a few weeks or at least until Florida hit a 50% fully vaccinated rate. Oh well, Disney is soon to follow tonight. Stay safe guys!

Echoing previous responses - feels way too soon. Only 40% fully vaxed nationally and only 36% in Florida. This is borderline reckless in my opinion.

Bound to age poorly, but I don’t think so. They’ve still got a few more weeks.

What's the status on MiB and Gringotts preshows? Or the E.T. cards?

Yes. Ironically, Disney just put out new "Masks On" signs throughout the WDW parks yesterday....... .....I'm guessing the Universal move, this quickly, caught Disney off guard.

Personally I think they should have kept the indoor mask policy in place for the time being, seems a bit reckless and bit too much too soon. Hopefully the positivity rate and vaccinated rates continue to climb. either way, come horror nights, I may still be wearing a mask indoors especially around those I'm not familiar with if this continues.

More than anything if they come out with a vaccine for young children, which is my biggest concern, then I'll feel much better.

^ THIS

We can’t even vaccinate people under 12 yet, a portion that makes up a significant part of people going to theme parks.

Wonderful. Don’t have to worry about a mask flying off in the Florida heat on VelociCoaster when I go in June!

I'm of two minds about the decision.

On one hand, it's absolutely premature by about a month and dropping it on TMs with one day's notice going into a holiday weekend is a massively disrespectful move.

On the other hand, they're fighting a losing battle and the battle would've only gotten worse over the next month. Everyone else is going to continue to drop masks around them (ex: AMC, Regal, and Cinemark all changed their policy today to no longer require masks for vaccinated guests as well) and guests are only going to fight it & break the rules more and more as it becomes more commonplace outside of the parks, so whether it was the right choice is probably pretty moot, unfortunately.

If your mask is coming off on Velocicoaster, you're either Mick Foley or you're not wearing it properly.
