The north end of what?

What where is Pranzo or did they change the name before it even opened. And this Vivo, where is it being crammed? Comcast is making my head spin.

The only North End with incredible pizza. Boston :)

Pranzos is now Vivo Italian Kitchen. It's going in where Pastamore was. Which is below Cowfish and next to Red Oven.

I was just invited to a tequila & food tasting inside Antojitos tomorrow. I'm not allowed to take photos but I will report back for Orlando Weekly.

And per the La Cava twitter, it seems there may be some sort of affiliation between them and Antojitos. For those who don't know, La Cava is the tequila bar at Epcot's Mexico Pavilion and is quite beloved.

Just got back from Antojitos. Entrees were good, apps and desert were great, tequila is amazing. 200 kinds of 100% pure agave, and no Jose Cuervo. The decor is like a Mexican church was graffitied by a buch of hipsters (for good or bad). Look for a full report on orlandoweekly's blog.

Sounds exciting on the culinary side. Jury's still out on the look of this place  Looking forward to your full account of today! I read some tweets from others there that had me literally salivating.
BTW, I'm not sure if you guys got sample or actual sizes of the dishes, but I am curious / worried about portion sizes. Is this a tapas restaurant after all? Any info, thoughts or observations on that?

Portions on apps were substantial & shareable, entrees were not huge but an acceptable size anywhere outside of America ;-)

Reactions: Octobers Fade
Thanks for the pics Felipe... sorta. That Antojitos is such a disturbing mess of design... and now the multi colored metal chairs. Injury has never been so insulted.

The new Universal store design on the other hand is so much more in keeping with the times... less cacophony of message.

I had to go to google maps to see where the US Store was located. :stunned: Of the hundreds of times I've walked by, I never really noticed/registered it... and definitely never went into it.

Me too :jaw:

As for Antojitos Im not struck, like others, on the paint job but it certainly catches the eye and that will draw people to it. But those outside chairs are just plain awful, smacks of cheap and tacky.

You're welcome!

BTW, that concrete base there is for the food truck / bus that's coming (a la Bumblebee Taco Truck). It's sorta hidden, but if you look closely you can see it on the bottom-left of the concept art.

I agree the chairs are pretty bad, the building doesn't bother me one bit. I think they could have done a little faux finishing to tone it down a bit, but in a year the sun will probably fade it anyway.
Good job Felipe!

I thought they would have done a better job blending the colors. They could have done better, but it's not so bad

I'm looking forward to the opening of the ColdStone, but in the mean time I'm sure you can get some ice cream in the other restaurants, like the Hard Rock, no?
