Classic for sure...not as fun as when I was a kid...It also doesn't fit IOA anymore...Maybe they could sell it to Sea World

I would agree with that sadly. UO as a whole has seemed to walk away from all thrill coasters for more subdued rides, other than the referb of Hulk. I love the 3D rides but that stuff gives me a terrible headache after a couple different rides. Oh well, as the saying goes "adapt or die." :died:

I think you'll be seeing more practical stuff soon..The 3-D gives a lot of people headaches...I heard of people feeling extremely queezy on Gringotts and FJ while being able to tackle Hulk just fine

Personally wanting to say, that'd be a hell of a year to market if DC replacement and SNW happened at the same time.

the 30th anniversary of Universal Orlando; and both of the two major parks get new attractions to drive attendence would be something to market. Especially with those IP's being very big in scale.

That said, the attraction itself; as I do trust Richard a good amount, does intrigue me. I'm curious to hear more, if that is what is indeed happening. Either way, with the HPLondon Forbidden Forest expansion coming soon, I am curious to see the implications of that scenic wise for when Orlando gets a replacement to Dragons.

While I sighed at first to hear from the source it was dark ride, I was elated to hear that 3D may not be used. I'm getting real tired of 3D/screens. But I won't hold my breath.

Yea, following Star Wars up with Nintendo and a Potter addition would be the best possible move

Rumblings are that F&F is the end of the line for 3D focused attractions moving forward.

While I appreciate the trust, even I have to stress until Universal says something, we don't know. I trust my source, but we are still so early in the process of this that anything can happen. I am intrigues tho to see that IoA would go down to one sole coaster -- a phenomenal coaster -- but just one. Seems like you are hurting a specific fan base.

Wouldn't it be technically two coasters (counting Hippogriff)?

All things considered, I'm not sure how big that fanbase is when it comes to UOR. Dragons never seems to grab the people in the same way Hulk and Rockit do.

That makes sense, with Super Nintendo World being rumored to be practical.

Hulk and Rockit (as much as I hate to say it for that), would make sense as "Landmark" coaster's for their equal parks. They loom over the horizon more than I'd even say Dragons at this point, and that both are in a way, one of the first things you could do/see when you enter the park (excluding Minions and Shrek).

I think this goes back to the thrill vs theme park and UOR has two theme parks in it. I'm all for getting rid of DC, everyone looking for roller coasters still has SeaWorld and BG in tampa.

I may also be biased in that I much prefer dark rides to roller coasters; I can barely make it through Hulk/DC these days. But I still love the Mummy.
