So on one hand yes I am thrilled for the SFX coaster appearing in Orlando. On the other hand it always looked like the ride Gringott's should and could have been... and yet it's being used by Universal... for Harry Potter no less?
Universal has a tendency to do the same thing over and over, it's just weird that they are basically building another (albeit hopefully better) Gringott's with the same IP.
This doesn't really improve their menu diversity, a thing they are baffling bad at by duplicating similar concepts over and over. It's not Transformers-Spiderman or Kong-F&F level for ride system similarity, but those examples use drastically different IP.
Still, I'm thrilled for an amazing ride system utilized on my favourite franchise at Universal. But didn't anyone look at the demo video and say, hey, we kind of already did that with this franchise? Wouldn't it have drawn less comparisons with something like Marvel, Nintendo or even an off the wall Seuss concept?
Maybe they are just softly apologizing and giving me a do-over for Gringotts...
