If the Fnaf maze is based off the Fnaf movie and not the games I am rioting, I want nothing to do with the Fnaf movie. It is literally the worst movie I have ever watched and is not based off the game's lore at all. I feel like they could do so much more with the games than the movie.

Except... the plot of the movie was written by the dude who created the games. It is the story he wanted. It was basically "his way or no movie", which is why it was stuck in development hell for years

Idk man, I loved the movie. It wasn’t perfect, but it doesn’t deviate THAT far from the game lore and it’s not like that matters for HHN anyway. The characters are all visually identical to the games too. It’s fine to not like the movie, but I don’t think it would impact HHN very much if the house was the games or the film

I think it is highly likely that a FNAF house would be based on the movie. Particularly if a Horrors of Blumhouse or M3GAN house does not come this year, FNAF would be the obvious Blumhouse tie-in for this year. And, if the rumors that HHN had trouble securing the IP in the past are true, Blumhouse - which we know obviously has a very good relationship with HHN - might have helped seal the deal, and I doubt they would want to be cut out, especially a few months before FNAF 2 hits theaters.

This trailer makes it seem less like to appear at the event this year (as a house). It looks like they toned down the horror for the sequel.

That’s a good theory. I could see that.

Also, I know this post is a hypothetical on top of a hypothetical, but I wonder IF FNAF is happening, Hollywood would be willing to build some AAs for Orlando’s event. For an IP like that, they’re gonna have to for the house work over there.

• There will be animatronics for a facade at the event. It is not clear what houses will have an AA as part of the facade, but it seems present (Question was asked by @ksfhhnfan on Twitter)

Scarecrow had AA crows at the facade. I’m just saying.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather NOT see an IP house repeat (Poltergeist). The amount of money this event brings in each year, there is no excuse for it (or budget cuts for that matter).

If the rumored scarecrow is a 2.0 rather than deja vu, that's less of an issue. Hell, imagine a Terror Tram! Include a SZ too. I like the triple use gimmick for Hollywood.

If we're going to revisit spooky of HHN past, then continue the trend of SZ to house/Tram with originals.

I mean, the last Poltergeist was 6 years ago. It’s been long enough that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re gonna complain about repeats, complain about Killer Clownz being back after only 3 years

HHN has a 2 week start before the other big 3 events start. That’s a really good amount of time to get the fans in especially with the rumored IPs coming.
