So now we're moving on from Scarecrow 2 to Scarecrow coming back as a repeat original house... oh lord. The spec is dry with this one. Lol

I mean, the last Poltergeist was 6 years ago. It’s been long enough that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re gonna complain about repeats, complain about Killer Clownz being back after only 3 years

3 Years, 6 years... doesn't matter. It'd be a different story if it was the 2nd & 3rd movie instead. Killer Klownz had no excuse though (neither did Halloween).

HHN has a 2 week start before the other big 3 events start. That’s a really good amount of time to get the fans in especially with the rumored IPs coming.

This isn't anything new though, with the exception of Fright Fest last year. HHN could start around the same date as everything else & "the fans" will still show up regardless.

As I've said before, a lot of the GP don't even know what's at the event even with the giant banner across the entrance. They show up for the spooky, the booze, & sadly for some, the rides that are there year round

Scarecrow has so many avenues to explore for a potential sequel. It doesn’t need to be a repeat.

Yup. They could adapt the Cursed Soil storyline from Orlando as a house, or focus as much on the industrial side of the agricultural desolation that came in the Dust Bowl era. They could even use it as a means of exploring their Crowz, and flesh them out further as the Sarah Marshall of HHN Hollywood.

The possibilites with the idea of Scarecrows/Crowz is genuinely filled with a lot for Hollywood. Enough to where I think it shouldn't be a concern of material to explore. Even if it uses similar stuff, what matters is the overall element.

Echoing the others-- @Brian G. @Clive @Jake S feels like it's time to reopen the construction thread. With work now visible and occuring for two of the 8 venues this year (with H-Lot North and Parisian on their way likely by the end of the month), it's time to reopen the construction thread.

The dead never sleep! Markings for Mummy Venue are seemingly under way for HHN Hollywood, with cones signifying the tent placement for Mummy Venue.

From what it seems, the house will be in the terms of proximity similar to that of Dead Exposure in length.

Nintendo probably wouldn’t be too keen on having beer at a land that’s supposed to be family friendly. You’d probably have to go to Epcot to get some good Japanese beer.

So this really depends on how things play down; coming back to this. But depending on the circumstances of the framing for the next week or so...I think we know H-Lot South.




Throwing out my speculation; I think Poltergeist might be why we haven't really seen him talk about much of a 8th treatment. Depending on the way he could play it, he might not even really need a treatment written for Poltergeist; if it follows off of the ability to just plop the treatment as if it's in H-Lot as opposed to 747. We'll need to see how things go in the weeks ahead, but from the getgo I think it's Poltergeist.
