. I don't have any firsthand information either, BUT I do know someone in Learning & Development at Universal who told me this story. Apparently, he tells it at all orientation classes (maybe for bartending or Food & Beverage or something..? I'm not sure). So this story comes from Universal execs, though they may have grown it themselves into a bit of an exaggeration.
I'm sure Finn's was open though no matter what. It's a moneymaking sit-down restaurant, and it wouldn't make sense to just close the bar part of it. Especially when it's open no problem during the day. When I was told this little anecdote, I imagined the shot girls and makeshift bars were the ones that were suspended.
