They wouldn't necessarily have to include any Native American background/allusions. No one knows what happened to the people on that island. A & D could take the story anywhere they wanted. Literally endless possibilities.

I agree... Yet, that seems to be the direction most people take with the subject. Perhaps some sort of a disease that has spread?

Any idea on when the next house announcement will be? I was hyped up to hear the first announcement only to be let down by TWD. It feels like I'm waiting for the first announcement all over again.

Probably within a week or two and it'll be another IP

Thank the LORD scare zones are back!!! Hopefully they are like the old ones with varried themes and elaborate sets. Now if only they find a solution for the parade

yeah i dont see how they will make good scarezones having to deal with the parade, they might say scarezones are back but that does Not mean that full sets are back.

we might just get the same kind of streets as we did in 2012 but without the roaming hordes.

yeah i dont see how they will make good scarezones having to deal with the parade, they might say scarezones are back but that does Not mean that full sets are back.

we might just get the same kind of streets as we did in 2012 but without the roaming hordes.

This is possible, but there are several locations where full-on sets are possible: Sting Alley, London Waterfront, World Expo, Central Park, KidZone hub, San Francisco. Whether they choose to take advantage of those locations remains to be seen. Should they continue to put streets on Hollywood Boulevard, Mel's Plaza, New York, and/or Plaza of the Stars (and I suspect they will), expect sets that are easily portable but hopefully more unique than the last couple years' efforts.

I wonder... would JK allow the use of the London waterfront for HHN? That would be an awesome scare zone, without much of a set needed. I'm just thinking of a "Terror of London" sort of thing... Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, Jeckyll and Hyde. Fill that area with mist and the sounds of Big Ben in the distance and you have an instant scare zone, no set really needed. Just a thought...

I'm not surprised to see Walking Dead back, but as much as I'm over the WD/HHN collab, I think having one maze is the best of both worlds. WD will make its appearance, a prominent one at that, enough to make it the headliner... but looking at the overall picture, it's just one of eight houses, and it won't be taking over the streets, or suffocating the creative soul of HHN like last year. So, all things considered, I am pleased. WD or no WD, I'm uber excited for the uber maze and I'm really glad we will have scarezones again! Now the only thing I'm holding out for is an icon ray:

So which of the IP's do you see announced next? Shall we learn about patrolling the halls of an infested spaceship, or will we learn of how we will be going face to face with what a good doctor once called pure evil?

Also I wonder if recent filming Universal did had anything to do with a returning character...I guess we'll learn soon enough.

I expect the purge announcement next, we will either find out if it's a house or a scare zone. Hopefully both, the zone in hollywood looked like a blast and if you combine both movies I can see a house
