This might be a bit of a stretch but maybe the ghost is for the band GHOST. They are gearing up for a new era with a new tour and album releasing next year and it is kind of perfect for a house in all honesty!

I feel like there’s enough demand, and good options, for a new musical house.

I’m just debating if the ROCKING horse is a hit or if it’s the Ghost.

Ghost (the band) is an obvious choice, but I think that Ice Nine Kills is also on the table. They’re making a big push this year, doing a tour of both the Silver Scream albums played in full

Until we get another map in a few months, I'm convinced that the 23A house is Monstrous 2. I think last year they used the same/similar flowers in the clues. I think the one for the Orlando map for 2024 was white and the one for Monstrous 2 in Hollywood was black.

I’m gonna give you guys my take of the spec map.

Santa’s Beard = Terrifier
Rocking Horse= The Last of Us
Toy shelf= M3gan
Ghost = Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

And as for the Dove, it’s most likely to be an original. I think it’s folk-related.

I’m not for or against Ghost. I don’t know enough about them but I do see they are doing a world tour in 2025. That aside I don’t think they are a big enough draw (Too Niche) in the U.S. to make it worthwhile. I think a music talent has really got to make sense.

Rob Zombie directed horror movies and much better known.

Billie Eilish would have just received artist of the year.

Not against Ghost but just don’t see enough bang for the buck. And I might be almost 50 but Ice Nine Kills? Same.
I’d put my money on Bobby Borris Pickett and the Crypt Kickers before them.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Think people have some solid takes so far, but to offer some alternate interpretations to mix up the speculation:

Rocking Horse - Think people are spot on with Last of Us 2 and it’s use of horses.

Santa’s Beard - Smile/Smile 2. Popular franchise, good relationship with Paramount, and Santa’s Beard is his “smile.”

Toys - Chucky, either as a return to the killer toy factory or a more faithful Child’s Play 2 house. Toys are a child’s playthings after all. Plus I’m sure they want a little more mileage out of some of those puppets/animatronics.

Ghost - Terrifier, specifically a 2 + 3 mashup. Tent makes more sense for the franchise and Ghost with Christmas Lights = Halloween and Christmas together.

Lotus - If not an Asian-inspired original, I could see it as a new Odyssey inspired Greek Mythology original. Lotuses and birds do figure heavily into the plot, but maybe I just have Nolan on the brain right now.

The only problem I see Poltergeist coming back with a sequel is the second and even a third film weren’t well-received by critics and audience alike, unless it has an original story as a reboot.

Alllll I'm saying is if we got a musical artist this year, just like with Billie Eilish had a spooky look going on when she was coming, Lady Gaga is rocking a very translatable vibe to the event

I love Ghost, Mike Aiello loves Ghost, a Jester in Mardi Gras Murders loved my Ghost shirt - They've blown up since the last time we discussed them in spec, have songs in quite a few horror movies, dropped their own movie (which did numbers), etc etc. That being said it's outside the realm of spec and FIRMLY in wishful thinking

Really hope Ice Nine Kills 'A Work of Art' plays in the Terrifier queue though. That would go hard

I’m starting to have an unfortunate feeling that we won’t be getting another music act in Orlando again this time but instead as a Hollywood exclusive. Legacy implied they have or still trying to snatch up to five IP’s in total.

Tbh I don't see Orlando OR Hollywood doing another music house for awhile. We just had Weeknd in Hollywood this year and Orlando doesn't do music houses very often.

Rocking horse - TLOU2. Ellie rides a horse through parts of the game

Santa Beard - Terrifier. Art dresses as Santa to the point where he takes a guy who was dressed as Santa’s beard.

Toy Shelf - M3GAN. There’s a doll on the shelf and M3GAN is kind of a toy in her own right.

Ghost - Poltergeist. The ghost is messing with the lights like in the movie

Dove - Assuming original since HW doesn’t have it. Could be anything but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Nightingales.
