The lowerlot scarezones were lame though. 2-3 stiltwalkers? Nah I'll pass. If the chainsaws are coming back this year that would definitely be different than a couple stiltwalkers

Well, it would be better than nothing. The main reason they've held off on scarezones was because it's the central hub of the event. It's too dang crowded so they can't have a real scarezone. It would be nice to see at least just a couple of scareactors down there again for the sake of keeping people on their toes.

Am I the only one that would enjoy having an extreme scooby doo maze?

Forgot to Mention about the "More than 1 TV Show" tweet that opens up the door for yes you know....

ASH VS EVIL DEAD

I can totally see it getting announced at Comic Con this year...

- American Horror Story: Roanoke = FDTD Area (Confirmed)
- The Shining = Mummy Queue (Confirmed)
- Insidious = JP Queue
- Ash Vs Evil Dead = 747 Area
- Saw = Metro Sets
- Blumhouse Mashup = Parisian Courtyard
- The Thing/ Conjuring Replacement = Waterworld Queue

Murdy is hinting Writers Block which is to be the Maze that is in JP Queue to be announced next in Early July. Next up Insidious!

You can hate on me for saying this but this lineup makes want to skip HHNs Hollywood when we come to california. Nothing on this list interests me in the slightest.
AHS: been done
Saw: been done
Shinning: at Orlando
Evil Dead: been done
the Thing: been done

I don't know if it's worth spending a night there or finding some local haunts.

It's "Shining"

ORIGINAL EVIL DEAD: Never been done

ORIGINAL THE THING: Never been done

SAW (WHATEVER THE NEW MOVIE IS CALLED): Never been done

AHS ONLY ROANOKE: Never been done

Still don't want to come down to HHN 2017?

But, if you spend a night at local haunts please make your way down to Boney Island (you'll definitely see me working), Backwoods (such a classic), Opechee (run by teenagers!), Van Oaks, or Rosehill (my haunt)!

Hacker, I hope you know the houses you mentioned are going to be at Orlando, except the Thing, I can't remember where the rumor was on that

Food, I hope you understand that Orlando and Hollywoods mazes are never identical. They size, scale, and sets of the mazes are almost always completely different. If you have the opportunity to visit both I personally would

To say something,

American Horror Story: More In-Depth oriented take on Roanoke, collaboration along with FoxNext. Does not include any other season.

Saw: Both Coasts, but hasn't been seen since 2010 and that it'll most likely bring new material from the upcoming movie

Shining: Both Coasts, but both are completely different houses

Evil Dead: It was Done, but that was more on the Remake from 2013. None of that will be in the new house, and that it's possible that it may incorporate elements from the new TV series.

The Thing: Similar situation to Evil Dead, but that they are focusing more on the original classic from John Carpenter back in 1982.

Terror Tram: Albeit repetitive, but it is something to experience

Blumhouse: Both Coasts, but it seems like it may be different due to Insidious potentially as it's own thing for Hollywood

Insidious: The "Wolfman" of the group, will serve as a preview for the upcoming movie, which got pushed to January.

There are plenty of reasons to not go. And I think it would depend on my mood; as if I wasn't in that mood, I'd probably choose Knotts Scary Farm (as they are celebrating their 45th); or Dark Harbor due to that they have seemed to be rather positive in response.

I would even vouch for Fright Fest these days, but that may be going too far. And then there are stuff like Delusion, Blackout, LA Haunted Hayride, and the like.

If you don't go to Halloween Horror Nights this year, it's completely understandable as I could actually rather see why.

None of the IPs (even Blumhouse I'm questioning of) excites me in a way that, quite frankly; did last year, as it was a major year for the event. It brought back Original content for the Tram, that didn't suck, had one more run for the Killer Quartet in houses, and brought in American Horror Story for the first time.

It just differs on preference.

I will I guess give my view point on the lineup as I was the one who gave it. I like it but I don't like. The Original Lineup with The Conjuring isn't the 2nd best lineup. And it still isn't.

AHS Roanoke: Will probably fix issues from last years maze. Could be fun. Roanoke is my second least favorite season but has a lot of content. Could work. (Wish it was Asylum however).

Shining: My Most anticipated as it is my favorite horror film of all time. The Info given has been positive about the Maze and I look forward to it. Sure both coasts but I think they will have differences.

Insidious: Sort of a Hollywood Exclusive (Will be a Cameo in the Blumhouse Mashup for Orlando). Curious why Murdy is still doing it but a bunch of new content since it will be based on the 4th film only. Hope it can be as good as the 2015 Maze.

Evil Dead: Whether it's based on the Original two films or just the TV Series I'm excited. My second most anticipated as I think it's gonna be a lot of fun as it can be Gory, scary, and Fun.

Saw: Could be SUPER fun. I want it to be. Murdy stated this was his favorite facade from this year so looking forward to that.

Blumhouse: I know this one has been controversial but I think it will be interesting. Persian is a great place for it. The Properties known so far to be in the Maze are Purge, Sinister, and Get Out. I'm excited to see Sinister finally happen but I'm extremely cautious about this Maze.

Scare Zones: All New Original Themes. Depanding on the themes I will or will not be excited but fresh and new.

Terror Tram: Excited as the success of the Titans last year makes sense for them to be back. But we shall see...

If The Thing is the Replacement for The Conjuring I will be fine. But it's not 100% gonna happen.

Everything else has been heavily rumored and has been getting more and more confirmed by Murdy. The Thing was just something I heard so it could be something else. But it will be in the Waterworld Queue.

The Original Facade I heard for Waterworld was to 20 FEET tall. So HUGE facade. But now I heard it's half that so 10 Feet. It will have a Original twist on the Facade. The Codename is "Uber Fan" which is a very big Music Fan or something else.

The Lineup isn't the greatest but I look forward to it. I was expecting this to happen after 2016 as 2016 was so Great that I expected 2017 to not be able to fulfil that gap that is needed.

But "Uber Fan" is the codename for the Replacement for The Conjuring. It could be "The Thing" as the 2011 Reboot/Remake was created by HUGE fans of the Original Film or that John Carpenter is a Huge fan of H.P. Lovecraft and drew a lot of influence when making The Thing but who knows.

Saw it in Orlando, wasn't a fan. I understand it will be different....

Saw was in Orlando in '08 and it was a maze heavily dependent on timing. Bad taste...

Shining: Both Coasts, but both are completely different houses
If it is anything like AWIL they can keep it.

Evil Dead: It was Done, but that was more on the Remake from 2013. None of that will be in the new house, and that it's possible that it may incorporate elements from the new TV series.
Eh, been there done that in Orlando, don't watch the show as the whole series just became a joke after the first movie.

The Thing: Similar situation to Evil Dead, but that they are focusing more on the original classic from John Carpenter back in 1982.
Saw two Thing houses, and a room in another house, thats enough for me.

Terror Tram: Albeit repetitive, but it is something to experience
Never seen it, would be new to me.

Blumhouse: Both Coasts, but it seems like it may be different due to Insidious potentially as it's own thing for Hollywood

Insidious: The "Wolfman" of the group, will serve as a preview for the upcoming movie, which got pushed to January.
Generally I really dislike promo houses....

We are going tom Knotts!

I would even vouch for Fright Fest these days, but that may be going too far. And then there are stuff like Delusion, Blackout, LA Haunted Hayride, and the like.
Thanks for the info.

Just feels like Orlando, Obviously I want to check out HHNs while I am there, likely a once in a lifetime trip and big bucks, but I don't want the same old same old... even if it slightly different.

None of the IPs (even Blumhouse I'm questioning of) excites me in a way that, quite frankly; did last year, as it was a major year for the event. Of course all this is based on going across the country, the time and amount of money it is going to cost, when I am an hour and a half from Orlando.

Thanks
again for the info.

I don't believe this.
I don't want to believe this.

It makes zero sense to me to have TCM massacre return and in the same area as last year. As a creative and marketing decision this is just really dumb if it's true.
