You should take photographs for the resort. Seriously, a lot of your shots are better than the ones they use for advertising.

Listen to the video linked below, and you will be able to tell the difference between the smooth train and the rough train.

Thanks, Disneyhead! Wow, that train really sounds awful. Universal should do the smart thing and try to fix that train first thing. Will they do it? Probably not anytime soon. :(

Ok, got it! Avoid the train that sounds like the dinosaurs at Jurassic Park, check. Thanks Disneyhead for posting that video!

Wow, that really is bad. They need to fix that ASAP. I don't even think six flags would run a train that was rattling like that.

Was at UO tonight. I'll post some pics later, but as we were watching Rockit (around 6:15pm), we saw a train stop right at the top, just before it crested the main drop. It hung there for about a minute, then finished it's climb over the crest & went well on its way.

I wonder if they can run the moving load platform with four trains... either way, just one more to go.

Well, tomorrow morning I will make another attempt to ride this bad boy. Planning on hitting the gates right at 9am to avoid the loooooong wait times. Hope to hell they open it with the park though!

I am so excited to be finally riding this in a few days. If it's rickety it'll feel like American Scream Machine at Six Flags..

Just got home from a theme park marathon today with the family. We hit Universal right at 9am today and by the time we hustled over to Rockit it was at 60 minutes. Me and the 8 year old waited it out and finally got to ride this beast!! Honestly, I grew up at Cedar Point and have been on quite a few coasters. I was excited I suppose since the reviews have been pretty good, but overall was thinking I would be disappointed with this because from the ground it just looks meh to me.

I was pleasantly surprised. This coaster was a ton of fun and more intense than it looks for sure! The loop is awesome, going through the building is cool, and I really loved the crowd surfer portion. We both picked "bring me to life" by evanescance and as previously stated it really fits perfectly for the hill and the rest of the ride. I was tempted to bust out the secret tracks but I figured for the inaugural run I wanted to see the video--which is absolutely hilarious. I would have bought it except for the $30 price tag and the fact that you really get about 5 seconds of screen time-the rest is a computer animation of the coaster--really??? I hope they change this soon or good luck selling these DVDs guys...

While we were in line I saw they had 4 trains running. One of the trains was cycling through empty the entire time and had what looked like fitness exercise balls in several of the seats. I'm gonna assume this is our reported "rough" train that makes the banging noises? Right after we rolled into the station they moved the track over and loaded the 5th train! So today they finally we're running with 5 trains! The platform however was still not moving at all while we were there. When we left the wait time was 180 minutes---3 HOURS??? WHOA. NO THANKS!!
By 3pm though the wait had dropped down to a low, low time of only 2 hours. Needless to say the max wait time I saw on anything else in the park today was 20 minutes at the Simpsons, nice time to hit the parks if you can, really empty!

The video sounds very similar to the one they sell for Sheikra. Were they splice you into a commercial for the coaster. Ahh marketing.
