Hmm, I wonder how much traffic will venture over to Osaka during the Olympics though...unless they're having separate events there, it's not close or cheap to get there.

If you have a Japan rail pass and 2 hours to spare with trains running every 10 minutes its really not that bad. Done it before would do it again.

I have also, but it was still expensive...and that's 2 hours each way ;)

If a Pokemon Center opened at UOR I would scream. In happiness, of course.

I'm thinking to get back into Pokemon. Reason I quit was that I had nearly every single one, even Celebi who I made my uncle drive me to an event to get. Then my dog chewed the cartridge. Right now until next week they're giving out Celebi again over wifi plus many other event exclusive Pokemon throughout the year. My golden oppurtunity to get back in if there ever was one.

I have every single pokemon as well but for some reason it never got old to me. I'm excited for the new two DS games at the end of the year and the Mortal Kombat like Wii U game "Pokken tournament" comes out tomorrow. This definitely is the year of Pokemon. Universal already working with Nintendo is a plus and Universal already has worked with Pokemon Company for distribution for some of those straight to video releases so I would assume even then they would be first pick if they wanted them in a theme park.

It didn't get old to me either. I had all but 6 and then lost them in seconds so basically I said ":censored: it."

Hey at least you weren't 6 years old with every single pokemon including Mew on Pokemon Yellow and then had your friend erase your game. It was traumatic to say the least.

so taking in mind a 2020 launch now..(thanks @testtrack321), I decided to update the list of things going to accomodate the massive project..

~ET Adventure (possibly)
~Animal Actors
~Barney
~Curious George
~Woody Woodpeckers nuthouse
~Fivals

With ET (again, possibly) now included to the foray, would it be safe to say that its now the largest part of USO to be demoed since Amity?

So how many acres if all of that goes? And, if indeed, the launch is 2020 to coincide with Japan, when does demo of Kidzone start? I would think they can wait on Fallon & F&F to be finished with a timeline that far away.

I thought that without ET, its the size of DA. With it posssibly included, thats going to turn interesting.

Sounds like something really big. As Ed Sullivan used to say "A Really Big Show".

If the project size is as big as its starting to seem, I have to assume early 2017. Why I see that is due to it being if you want to call it, the SWL of projects. They'd need to have time to get infrastructure & demolition to occur, especially considering the amount of buildings that would need demo.

Its also worth noting that come Early 2017, Fallon; Kong and Hulk should be enough to hold people in capacity. And then around Spring-Summer 2017, VB should help as well and same for F&F in that regard to when that arises.

I would be perplexed about something, and that's WNW. I wonder if that could be a roadblock to have work with Nintendo happen, but when three projects can happen in the same time (Kong, Hulk, Sapphire), I'm sure that they can figure that out.

Pardon my long post. But I did want to get some thoughts out of that.

Man, it really does astound me how much Universal has going on in terms of construction right now. And the fact that it's addressing all aspects of the resort, from hotels to attractions to restaraunts, makes it all that much more exciting.

So if the opening is 2020, will this be for Orlando, Hollywood and Japan?

Remember, they were able to demolish Jaws, fill in the lagoon and river, build Gringotts, Diagon, and HE in 2.5 years.

I don't think this will start until everything next year is open.

I don't doubt that they can do it more fast. I do think that anythings possible for the size of the project.
