I suppose you are generally correct. But sheetrock hangers, concept designers, concrete specialists, electronics designers, and effects pros etc. seems a hinky mix unless they hang out separately from each other.

Ill tell you one thing, everyone loves free food, especially contractors out in the field and will come together for that. Working close with these guys in the industry im in, I can tell you first hand they love anything free whether its a calendar or a baseball cap and do feel appreciated when you do things like that for them. You throw some ribs out there and its the event of the year

With a canopy the impressive entrance of the ride building and the huge AA of Kong wouldn't be that impressive because of the limited view. If the 3D movie part is similar to what I've seen from the tram tour it needs a roof because the fight goes over the tram to the other side of the vehicle. Maybe they use a tunnel screen similar to the Sea World dome screen fot the turtle movie?

The contractors did get some bling. Custom Reign of Kong project t-shirts and on and on! Pics will show up soon I am sure. Work site, look for yellow.

Teebin's anecdote, 326B:

A few weeks ago, I found myself having to park at a business who's lot happened to be set next to a 30' granite cliff. One of those days, I walked over to the base of the cliff and examined all of the details of cracks and aging over time. I got so lost in thought at one point that I actually thought and murmured to myself, "wow, this is really well done...". I stopped and looked to either side of me to make sure no one heard...

Just thought you would enjoy a minute of the world that I exist in. :look:

Yeah I think for the temple entrance alone, the canopy should get axed. If you are driving into the temple and can't see it, its pointless.

It will be a pointless ride in the summer if there's no canopy. It's Florida, it rains almost daily.

Everyone will be able to see the high parts of the temple on the big turn and it will be a better effect to limit and focus the view the closer the vehicle gets. Something besides the door opening is supposed to happen. It might make some like us giggle with excitement and mortify the younger peoples. :)

Remember, there is a completely different solution for rain and lightning on this ride. The canopy will not matter if that option is turned on. Sun could be argued I suppose.

So this is one vehicle per cycle, right? I had the impression that three trucks would be cycled at a time from something I read, but I can't find it and I just think my mind is playing tricks on me at this point.

Is it also safe to say we'll be getting some more details/artwork after HHN ends?

Ya know what, I don't know. I can only think of it like break runs on a coaster. Based on that I can imagine it is at least two, possibly three at a time.

How long is the 360 show? I imagine that this attraction will have to be two or three times that in length. Possibly 9 minutes! Woooooo!

There is so much more I would love to tell all of you, but I have been ordered to shut up about it. I am like the boy in the car traffic, "You're killing me!!!". ;)

There's gotta be more vehicles if the ride is 9 minutes long (good lord that alone makes me so happy). Just waiting nine minutes for one car would just lead to a hell line, even if that car could carry most small villages in Africa

Cole, you are supposed to consider the math that I stated. Two trucks would make it every 4 1/2 minutes between departures. Three trucks would make it 3 minutes. 4 trucks would have one at unload/load waiting to go. That is basically 2 minutes.

Finally, remember that I do not know and I am just guessing.

Thanks awhen! I wonder what that will look like against the more common blue sky? I "think" I might wish that it was bluer and more pale... but until such time, I don't dare make a final judgement. Too, as much as I really enjoy the detail, we must keep in mind that fine camera zoom shots will betray a mural every time. A distant wide shot will be appreciated too!

Will do next time on the including of some wider shots. The sky was terrible today (it was pouring down rain about 30 minutes later). It's also only that small section so far to the left of the temple.

Here's a few more.

The rockwork is finally moving to the right.

Some new structure on the open ground in front of the temple.

It wasn't until today that I realized that I was taking pictures of these on the ground just to the left of the temple entrance a while ago.

Starting to add some small details to the rockwork to break it up.

Some more foreground construction.

My bad teebs, won't happen again!!! Also those details are unbelievable, seriously the coolest looking temple in theme park history

Danke awhen!!! They appear to still be behind on the queue building. I wonder how much the general contractors have held up Nassal. I believe Nassal will be compensated for that crap, and it will come out of the generals budget.

I believe at some point I have mentioned that their might be some kind of water moat bridge. See the horizontal areas being pressed into the drying concrete below? They want the ride track to dry slowly without added water thus the plastic in a few pictures above. Love the additional pictures awhen!

Does anyone know the size of the temple? I'm assuming the pictures don't do justice. I haven't seen it in person, but judging from the picture Teebs posted ^ it looks enormous. That's no small lift, and the temple entrance dwarfs it in comparison. Also, the new detail on the rock work does wonders! Amazing :)
