Pretty pretty please can someone let the Uk folk know what happens on the Ellen show. I have checked our channels and it seems the Ellen shows we get are really old episodes:pray:

? Okay. Well in 2008, I recall everyone blowing up that Ellen was going to get an exclusive ride on the Simpsons and first look with a couple fans and it never happened (it was all the buzz with all TMs considering I was present for the entire 4 days of her filming then). I mean I know she'll definitely be filming in the parks and probably in Hogsmeade, but I have so much doubt that they'll ride FJ (doesn't include filming in the queue which I think they will do).

Unless you were referring to her doing something Simpsons related on this series of episodes which makes no sense.

You could be right but I'm not sure. I don't recall every detail of the Simpsons/Ellen situation but had anyone gone on it before she arrived? The difference could be that people have already ridden FJ at this point in time. I doubt that she will film much, if at all from FJ but she may get a ride. I definitely see where you are coming from though, people were going crazy over her possibly giving us a first look at Simpsons and ended up with nothing.

I recall a member saying that some execs had seen it, and only the first of the two domes was hardly completed, but Ellen would have had a sneak peek of it for promo. I mean regardless of filming in FJ, I'm not sure they'll let footage of the ride get out like that because of the "surprise" they want. I can definitely see Ellen playing around in the "Hogwarts" queue for a clip for the show though.

She always rides Hulk with a celebrity guest though, and plays pranks at the hotels like the Spa scare from last year, or the Royal Pacific Water Aerobics class. The Jaws bit in 2008 was priceless though!

Those pics look awesome Mookie. I love the close up of the icicle. I LOVE Ellen and I LOVE Harry Potter. So if she does do anything on Harry Potter, I am gonna be so psyched. I wish I had a DVR or even a VHS that could record it... I'll probably end up watching it online somehow.
 
AMAZING PICS!!! Please add more, we need updates! Just out of curiosity, where was the last pic taken?

Does anyone know if there will be male Beauxbaton students in the Dragon Challenge? I wonder why they made it a Uni-sex schools for the films...

I remember the steeple went from that to what it is now in just a few days, wouldn't expect this building to remain like that much longer. Either way, thanks for the great update, Mookie! Your shots are always amazing with detail. :rep:

You know, I would actually bet a small amount of money that Ellen won't be doing anything Harry Potter related. I had the same hopes in 2008 for her to do something Simpsons related considering it was in the same opening timeframe as the WWOHP is.

In addition I wanted to throw this out there. The show building for FJ is ridiculously huge. It's almost twice the size of Spidey. I wouldn't be surprised to see our Great Hall in the actual ride.

Ellen had a casting call for kids who love Harry Potter for the last three weeks, so I think they are doing something HP related.

There are several other details that also remain accurate, so I believe that his comment that softs would start on April 9 true at the time. On another note... the queue for touring Hogwarts is the same for riders and non-riders (they do not run along side each other). Before you enter The Room of Requirement there is an exit for those not wishing - or able - to ride. The queue for Express Pass riders meets up with the main queue right before Dumbledore's office and does not include most of the castle tour. It is unclear where the single rider queue goes, but it has been suggested that it follows the main queue and upon entering The Room of Requirement you are able to skip ahead to fill in any empty seats.

Yet another thought... today, when you ride most attractions with a heavily themed queue, riders are often disrespectful and either don't listen, or wish to bypass this part of the attraction when there are no lines. I realize that everyone here will be taking in every little detail, but are we prepared for the average riders who will be talking and making it near impossible to hear the portraits, etc. Also, how long before the preshow areas lose their interest?

Honestly, I am so over asking people to be quiet while trying to listen to the Haunted Mansion's preshow, or worse yet, having to endure the entire room speaking the Ghost Host's entire monologue as if it's a cue for congregational reciting.

Be prepared to be annoyed by the public. Be very prepared.

SAS wasn't the first person to mention enchanted benches. Those rumors have been around long before I joined the site.
 
Have they changed the bridge connecting Jurrasic Park and tWWoHP to be more Scottish-Themed, like putting cobble stones on it? Seriously, SOMEONE here must have heard the music in the park, is it Hedwigs Theme playing over and over again or a mixture of Harry Potter movie and game themes?

Sorry I know the answer & forgot to tell you. It's been a mix of different movie music (no VG music in there yet)
