I know this has been brought up before, but I think it's in the first thread and I'm sadly too lazy to go searching for it, but when is the show for Ellen going to air with the WWOHP footage? Hasn't the date been confirmed? I think it's sometime next week but I wasn't sure. And I thought it was also confirmed that she would be doing something WW-related, so why all the debate?

The episodes are supposed to air on Thursday and Friday with the episodes being filmed tommorow. There was never any confirmation on what she was going to do at the parks. All we know was that she was holding a contest looking for HP fans.

Sorry if I seem a bit on edge it just seems like the same questions get asked right after they are answered & after I post a question or anything I always go back quick to see if it was answered already. But trust me I am the most relaxed I have been over this in a long time. dreamcat that's prob. the case he just was very quiet when I asked him if hes gone inside the ride I figured some security has been inside the scenes based on general security knowledge I know from someone who works at WDW. Glad to see someone spotted Ellen today going inside too bad I wasn't there to pose as a camera man.

So I sent an email to guest services to see if the park would be open. I had sent an email previously and they responded wtih an email. THIS time they CALLED me! Super strange response to an email... either way here is what I was told. I stated that I had contacted guest services earlier and that they told me that nothing in the park would be closed during our visit... now they have announced the grand opening for June 18th so is it going to be in soft open during our visit? When they called they confirmed the grand opening date. She told me that they would not provide a definate soft open date but there is always a possibility. They don't know anything at this point. She told me that DD would be open and is not scheduled for any maintenance during the time of our visit (Apr 9-26). The most interesting this she said was "We can only tell you what we are told to share". It was at this point that she said they are guaranteeing people who purchased the packages will get into WWOHP and the grand opening to the public is June 18. After having a regular conversation with her from the beginning the last part almost sounded scripted.

On a side note.. just wondering if anyone knows the "official" facebook page for universal.

I think that people are already testing it with employees beacuse it takes time to program it perfectly. (omg 3 more months!!!!!!)
