Our Hogsmead has two additional structures next to Shrek which Daniel mentioned above might be used for the interactive wands.

Just a thought...but this was a location of where the restrooms were located and sewage lines may have already been present in this area near Shrek.  Could it be that the new structures are just restrooms?  I know its not in the same place as Orlando's or Japan's but it is a logistical thought.

That's a good point, actually. In Florida, the restrooms are included in the first of the 4-5 cottages just past Hog's Head. If you take a look back at those aerial photos of our park, it seems there are only 2-3 cottages. Since our Ollivanders experience will presumably be the improved version found in Japan, it should take up most of the room just beyond our Hog's Head.

Basically, it's pretty likely that the new structures are just relocated restrooms. Oh, well.

The restroom building is the one right after the alleyway that would go to the Three Broomsticks patio and it seems it will be in the first rooftop that is not covered by scaffolding in the aerial photo. Our Hogsmeade is a virtual clone of Japan with the exception of the new structure to cover Shrek. Remember the overhang that we go under for Shrek will take some of the building's floor level footprint so I believe if anything it will be display windows for interactive wands, especially with the lack of guest flow that can happen in that alleyway IMO.

Is that really all the cottages are there for, to cover up Shrek? It seems that even with those new structures added, we'll still see Shrek's show building in certain points of Hogsmeade. I can see why they would make that effort, but it'd be a shame to see two entirely new structures be used solely for better immersion and a few interactive windows.

Well the tall part of Shrek's building seems like it's unfortunately going to be seen but most of the queue will be blocked with hardscape that will block sound (Who wants to hear SmashMouth in Hogsmeade anyways?). Remember that the back of Hogsmeade in Orlando is all interactive windows with no substance so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Very true. Also, Shrek's new queue literally runs just alongside Potter construction, so it looks like those in line for Shrek will soon have more of Hosgmeade to touch once they put up the themed wall separating the two.

I understand where Orlando's and Japan's restrooms are located.  I would expect that they would follow the same design here, but these building near Shrek are obviously not in Orlando or Japan and they seem a little too narrow and personal for major crowds to find.  Restrooms make sense to me.

So it looks like Springfield's sign is covering pretty much covering all of Hogsmeade now. But I wonder how it looks from the other side. Do you think that the back of the sign is seeable in the Wizarding World?

I think we've established that there's not enough space in Hogsmeade to give you the vantage point you need to see the back of Springfield from the village since the buildings will be tall enough to cover.
