Amazing progress, absolutely amazing. Giving me major chills. I especially love that you can see Hogwarts from so many different locations! I especially like it from the freeway! Talk about a new icon of USH & LA!!!

In regards to the pathway behind 3 Broomsticks....

saw a pic from the exit area of Studio Tour taken a few hours ago.. It matches up with what William said on the previous page about the pic he saw the other day. The thing is, I don't see an area on the left that could be another plaza though. It could be a somewhat zoomed in shot, so that might be why. It'd be so much easier to just post the damn pic haha.. Part of me doesn't really want to see them have a connecting path after they did all that work redesigning the Studio Tour exit with plants/trees, but I know its a necessary evil.

I have seen over the fence and I agree this pathway does exist.  I, for one, am glad its there.  I could see the area in question as being available for street carts of some sort.  Wands anyone?

Is Hogwarts supposed to be that color or am I tripping out bc it looks like it needs several more coats of paint ? Idk maybe it's just my eyes

The color is fine. The difference between Hollywood's and Orlando's is the direction the castle faces during sunset. The sun sets behind the castle in Orlando but in Hollywood it sets in front thus showering the castle with golden light.

Oh ok got it now... Does anybody remember someone talking about how our hogwarts was going to have different ornaments on top of the spires with also a more detailed courtyard? Did this end up being true? Bc it all looks the same to me ahahaha

Hogwarts doesn't have any ornaments on top, I think that was just some trolling lol. I think it'll be identical.

They're gonna need signs outside of USH next year that will say "Warning: Not For The Claustrophobic".

It was speculated that Hogwarts would feature a few smaller elaborate spires, but so far that hasn't proven to be true from what can be seen. As to what happened to the spires spotted in non-guest view areas is unknown... Could've been part of the Dark Arts room or something. Or for an unknown production doing filming. *shrugs*

Speaking of Hogwarts, since I live right next to the WB Studios Backlot, I decided to take a walk earlier and get a few pics (not the greatest quality, but eh)  :)

Japan has the Black Lake... pfft.. we have the LA "River"

Just because you're the only one who said it out loud and posted it on a forum, doesn't mean you're the only one who knew about it ;) Not everyone wants to or has the permission to post absolutely everything we know. If we did, a lot of us or our friends/connections would lose our jobs if EVERYTHING was leaked.

But yay 3D :P

Not to sound rude or anything and no offense, but I'd be more impressed if someone told us we'd be getting a Great Hall and actually getting it than getting told FJ would be in 3D and that coming true.

^ not at all! It's not a simulator AND it's a well themed family coaster! I'm excited for it as well!

The environment and surroundings in Wizarding World alone will make it all worth it. The rides are just the cherry on top!

Yeah getting a Great Hall restaurant would have been an awesome surprise addition but I'm happy with what we got. Can't complain.

Same, but a WWoHP without a Great Hall is better than no WWoHP at all. I'll take what we get. :)

I have to wonder if the Great Hall restaurant was more of a heavily wide-spread fanboy dream rumor or actually "going to happen", but didn't... From what it seems like, there was a concept dreamed up for one to exist here. Obviously though, there are different variables that prevented it from happening, which is dumb because that could've been USH's "exclusive".

Realistically, IF there had been a way for the Great Hall restaurant to happen, it could've easily been executed like "Be Our Guest" at Magic Kingdom... which is exactly the same as how FJ & its queue is set up. So yea.

From what I was told though (take this with a huge grain of salt because it sounds completely impractical), the proposed Great Hall restaurant would've been very "show-like". I guess they would've had some type of mechanism that would make your plate of food "magically appear" on the table. They would put a cover over your plate & then when they remove the cover your food would "magically" be there. Apparently Disney's "Be Our Guest" restaurant once had this same type of concept, but obviously that didn't happen.

The Great Hall restaurant is a huge missed opportunity. I think space is the issue, it's not called the Great Hall for nothing. But to have a space that could be a by-reservation themed restaurant with a bewitched ceiling, occasional shows (Defense Against the Dark Arts, Sorting, etc), and more than decent food, it would've been amazing.

Although, with what I've heard, as well as then the actual proof I've seen with a survey that was sent to me, Universal was contemplating up-charged additions within USH. They really were considering a Sorting Hat dining experience, but The Great Hall was never actually mentioned by name. Maybe we'll still get something small or maybe that's an addition for a Hogsmeade Phase 2?
