The great hall restaurant could never happen in my opinion..... The actual size of the great hall on top of the cliff is far too small to be an operating restaurant..... And also like I said, it's on a cliff.... How would that work as far as entrances and exits... Idk I would have loved to see it come but I don't think that universal is ever going to plan on making heavy changes to the wozardinf world installments... They have a cookie cutter blueprint after Japan and they just want to stamp it as many places as possible.... Although we will get some enhancements, I don't think a new dining experience was ever in question.

If they had a hypothetical restaurant, it could've been an alternative entrance to the ride entrance. Hogwarts has many different levels, and yet the queue is pretty much just one level, so it's just some theme park magic.

Here are two pics from WestCoaster...

This one just looked cool. Plus you can really see the Great Hall through the scaffolding.

^ That second picture looks amazing. Almost fake lol.

Looks like Hogwarts castle will probably be done by November by the way its moving. Hogsmead seems about finished, and looks like they just need to put in the queue and stuff for Flight of Hippogriff. Though we won't get it till next year, the WWOHP is nearly complete!

Things are looking really good.  First, the obligatory beauty shot.

What do you think the white powder lines are for amongst the trees?  For a brief moment I wondered of Universal would string a crowd queue through this steep forest, but then I chuckled to myself and said "Nah, they wouldn't make people climb up and down this hill."  Crowd has to go somewhere though.  Hmm.  ;-)

Cinder block wall is complete around greenhouse.  I'm sure this will get castle-themed shortly.  It's quite a difference from the Orlando queue.

I could see them using the forest area as an extended queue if they built in some ramps or stairs. I don't see anywhere else they could fit the crowds the same way that Orlando does.

I really don't think they could use the forest area for anything.... It's too steep.... I really have no clue where the crowds are going to go bc that shrek qeue isn't even big enough..

The forest area is just there to be a forest.

It's just going to be a forest. If it was on a flat piece of land, I'd love to see them have it be the Forbidden Forest, with either the extended queue winding through it, or have a meet and greet experience with the different creatures that reside within it.

Without an extended queue area this is going to be even more of a crowded mess than it already is doomed to be haha.

In other words, we are basically screwed! My prayers go out to opening day guests.... Including myself.

I believe theres some sort of Extended line right next to the entrance of the ride, so not exactly. As that's from Orlando i'm speaking of so it could of not been in Japan.

In regards to the extended queue for Forbidden Journey, yes Orlando has a small overflow queue to the left of the greenhouse... Obviously we can't have an overflow in the same location due to the big hill, I'm sure they've taken this into consideration in some way..

Here are two pics of Orlando's overflow area..

I did have one idea about overflow for here, but I don't believe its possible (yet).. so for now, I'll just say I'm sure they've thought of something...

Wow in the photo above posted by GoHawks, you can see that they are still painting the rock work and they are going for the original darker shade! Yay! Wonder if they will eventually add a little vegetation on it like orlandos

The dark shade of grey on the left side of the rockwork is the unpainted side.

Maybe eventually when crowds die down a bit, this could serve as a possible HHN maze venue..

Heres the thing; this wouldn't work due to numerous reasons that I don't want to get into. And ontop of that; we knew last year that JK didn't allow Orlando to use Diagon Alley for HHN usage. And if it did, then we would of saw the normal version; just to get people into an attraction for capacity.
