I still kinda assumed they’d do a modified version of the party - sort of like the Villains After Hours events at MK.

Maybe that gets announced at a later date once they have a better handle on how operations are going.

DCA had such a dope Halloween Party Last year...convinced so many of my friends to go this year....but I highly doubt it will happen....ohh well next year? lol

I see Disney cancelled the H20 Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon too? Makes me think these are more business/commercial decisions rather than safety as surely a limited entry outdoor event would have been more manageable?

Well I mean, it's not expected that Disney's Water Parks are opening anytime soon, so it'd be hard to have the Glow Nights party.

Well aware of that, but just a general comment that surely a small controlled outdoor event may have been easier to manage than MNSSHP. Why couldn't they open for a ticketed event and not keep the water park closed during the day to work out the kinks?

FWIW I agree with the decisions, just tossing out the idea for discussion.

Because it's a 3 hour event. The parks are not ready for guests to be in them period as Disney has just sort of let them sit there. Disney isn't going to haul ass to get Typhoon open just so 10 people show up for a party practically no one goes to anyways.

Are they really that unattended? Why even bother operating them during a non pandemic time?

Anyhoo, clearly I'm well off the mark with this one so back to the regular broadcast

I went to one a few years back it it was in stark contrast to the highly attended DVC parties at Typhoon. Maybe a couple hundred in the park.

Yes, they announced that event is cancelled as well.

Whatever that means. I assume it mostly just means no concerts?

All the booths are just sitting there still from F&G when the park closed, so not a bad idea to start right away. Good incentive to bring locals out.

The parks blog link above explains it a little but yes, no concerts, seminars, or add on parties, etc. They are doing the scavenger hunt, 20 booths instead of 35, and they kept some of the topiaries from Flower and a Garden up and added a Remy one.

With no MNSSHP, September should be pretty dead.

Except the park experience is likely going to suck hard... so there’s that.

People have said only a few rides at Seaworld... but nothing about the animal shows... dolphins, walruses, orcas? Are there any shows? They could space the seating in those outdoor arenas and be safe.
Reportedly, the Penguins refused to wear masks or social distance. Something about it not being in their DNA. ;) Shamu ate his mask....and the dolphins took their masks off and juggled them in the air as an act of defiance.....The animals are refusing to be socially responsible..The Walruses are demanding a socialist working environment and want everything free without working anymore...and most animals are wearing hats saying 'Make Sea World Great Again"....

SeaWorld has been doing most, of not all, of their shows.
Don't know if it is still the case, but the first week they opened they had the three big shows showtimes all scheduled at the same times. That way it guaranteed the crowds would be split better. Normally they stagger showtimes and you would often find like half the park all going to one show.
