Just to let you all know, Triceratops Encounter WILL return, but not in the next two or three months. It may return next year! I've seen so many new works going on there, including the repainting of the entrance, the installation of new lights throughout the path, old skin of the Triceratops being removed (and maybe replaced), and a lot of work... So, is anyone happy now? :thumbs:

Sure, this is deifinitely one of the original attractions I would love to have back and also something to fill up the space between JPRA and WWoHP.

No, for now, there's no tentative date, as there's still a lot of work that needs to be done in the queue (replacing the handrails) and the paths needs to be cleaned....
But it's still good to see it coming back!

Well, now they're repainting the triceratops at the entrance, installing new lights and changing the triceratops' skins. Those are definitely signs that it will reopen, but not very soon. I give them some months to finish all the work....

He just said he saw them painting the entrance sign, changing out and fixing the skinds of the AAs and fixing out the lights in the queue line...not much more proof needed.

For those who want to know the trike skins have been off since at least 2006, nothing new happening in that area. I do believe this attraction is coming back, and I can't wait to experience it.

The sign painting could just be for annual park maintenance, and the skins could just be the old ones sitting there and they're not replacing, but I really really hope TE returns. JP is my favorite island and this half of the island really needs some revamping.

Thanks, Tbad!!! Yeah, I really think it's going to open. Of course, if they're installing all these things, and then they are so crazy and leave it still closed, then I don't know what to say. But, all this attention makes me think that it will reopen....
Once again, it is NOT official yet, and it may take months before they finish (they're reeeally slow, but the works are improving). Have faith! Sometimes, what I say becomes reality (after a while), like the fact that Kodak was leaving. I confirmed it two months before, but the guys at WDWMagic didn't believe me, and well... now it's gone. So, let's hope it will happen the same! :thumbs:

I don't know... there is one pile of skins sitting under what appear to be some type of park signage, which I'm guessing are the old ones. But then, there is another pile of skins wrapped in plastic, which makes me think that they are brand new. Things are looking very positive for this attraction to return.
