I would be surprised if they bring back the Trike Encounter. The last time I saw the Trike Robos they were in poor disrepair. Universal would need to do some serious technical work to get those guys back in action. Even so, I don't remember the Trike Encounter holding very many guests. It does not have a long queue area, nor do any of the "Encounter" areas hold many people.

i seem to remember differently. There was a good bit of trail with that queue

And even if they can open up two of the paddocks with two Trikes. Fitting maybe 60 people in one at a time with ten minute shows you can easily get 720 people through or more in an hour. With three you can get 1000 plus no problem. That is good for a D ticket side attraction. It would be about the same or a bit better than Poseidon's Fury's capacity with no reset show times.

They could also take an easier way and make it a continious show type experience.

Some images of the great Jurassic Park feeling that really made it feel like a working dino park.

i agree with Disneyhead, they need people-eaters when Potter opens. We'll see both parking garages nearing capacity, lines never dropping below 30 minutes, booked restaurants, and every train running. If they did re-open trike and island skipper tours, we'd be able to see some of these long lines dip and possibly be able to hit all the major rides (including FJ) in one day.

plus, i never got to go on island skipper tours. they were running on my first visit, but i just didn't feel the need to take them. now i really want to see them back up and running.

Geeeze Don Pacho, how exactly find those pictures? Are they yours or did you just search really hard? They are great to see. Thanks!

Those are my pictures taken during my first trips to IOA when they opened.
The quality of the pics are not that good because that was the resolution of the first digital cameras back then, but I was very impressed because I could take all the pics I wanted

Appears we have a wishful thinker. Not trying to be pessimistic just realistic.

Marques if I came off as condescending I didn't mean to. Honestly I want Trike Encounter to open, I want it to open more than you guys can possibly imagine. The thing is that I've seen these rumors pop up before and they've had "substance" behind them. I know in 2006 or '07 they removed the trees blocking the entrance and had a guy puppeteer a baby Trike. Everybody thought that it was the beginning to something big. I know myself and tons of others bought into the rumors. The thing is it didn't happen then and I'm not saying it's not going to happen in the year 2010 I just don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

That definitley looks like new flat screen TVS in that picture! If so I would say that Triceratops Encounter has a great chance of reopening! Also has anyone seen the other Islands Skipper Tours loading docks in the different lands recentley? If so, are there any changes?

Does anyone know for sure that landscaping has continued work on the paths of TE while it has been shut down? Some of you might not realize how monstrous the plants they have here are. They are from all over the world and will break concrete in a half season if they are not controlled. I know, cause I have 90 percent of them on my property. The monsters are "creeping fig, lady palm, clustering bamboo and macho fern and most difficult of all the senegal date palm" all beautiful plants... but very destructive and even dangerous if left unattended.
