Early 2015? I doubt it. My guess is June 7 (USF's 25) at the earliest.

That's what I meant. Earlier in 2015 than what we've been assuming.

It's highly ambitious for a non-clone, but if the ride system really is a tram as they say, then Universal knows trams.

Who says it has to be a ride?

Nobody but it would be appreciated. I'd personally like a court room show but that'll probably be unlikely. My hope for it is that it isn't just more shops and scenery

I don't even think it will be a tram. It'll probably be something simpler like the great movie ride or the disaster RVs on a actual track. Whatever it'll be I pray it has good capacity so the lines will be short

Well, it shouldn't be a ride system as complicated as Transformers/Gringotts, so really it's all about getting the scenery in. Ride system shouldn't be a problem

I think a huge walktrhough/exploration area would be fantastic.

I think so too, I rather not even have a MOM land if I can get the same experience with just a walkthrough attraction and perhaps a shop. Possibly having a mini elevator simulator like gringotts in it? Just ideas but I think that'll be the way to go. It would probably destroy Poseidon in every way and would probably lead to a replacement for that too

I think Phase III will happen significantly faster. It won't be as big, so I just have the gut feeling it'll be open by 2017.

As for Seuss, there's still an expansion plot there. It won't be taking over another land.

I have a feeling that 2017 is going to be THE YEAR
- New hotel, Waterpark & Phase 3. Just shoot down all chances for Avatar to be as big as they want it to be

So, Jim Hill interviewed UOR President Tom Williams. Some very nice tidbits thrown in, including conformation that the next 5 years are basically set already, and that they're planning some special things for USF's 25th Anniversary next year.

Why do I NOT believe this interview actually happened? Tom Williams doesn't really do interviews, save for a few sound bites here and there. I doubt he would do an interview with Jim Hill. Plus, the Williams quotes sound very Jim Hill-ish. And the entire "article" is basically fluff.

Sorry, went on a Jim Hill rant. Great storyteller but maybe not the best reporter.

Why would he falsify an interview with someone who could come out and say that they were never interviewed?

Jim may be a great storyteller, but I doubt he'd risk his media credentials by falsifying an interview. He's not an outright liar

So you're saying he fabricated an interview.

Phase III is a guarantee. Alan Gilmore, Woodbury, and Coup have all but confirmed it themselves.

Other thinigs I think are in the cards. No inside info, just guessing:
-Toon Lagoon theater replacement
-Seuss Addition
-Twister replacement

I thought Twister couldn't be replaced? (Being that it would Affect Rockit)

Just because they (probably) can't demolish the building doesn't mean they can't change what's in it

We can be the jury and decide or not if we should send them to Azkaban. Kinda like the American idol experience but a lot darker. I can just imagine a crowd of tourist chanting "BURN THE WITCH" as an actor inside a spiked cage like the movies pretends to cry

I think if the IP talks come up again off baseless speculation we should check the actual interest of said IP before speaking because this is actually shocking. I had no idea Anime was more popular than Star Wars

^ That is really interesting. Were you able to limit to western countries searches only, ditch Asia?

Nope, I did not limit to just a western search as I don't know how to do that except by the little map thing on the bottom of the page when you use Google trends.

Edit: Figured out..United States only results

Focusing on big name IPS

Wow, a pokemon and magna area might be worth it....

Maybe that Japan idea of having Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Godzilla, F&F and some magna/anime might be worth it... that would be a kick ass land
