Was at USJ today, the Univrs style Wicked merch was flying off the shelves and there were people gathered for Elphaba and Glinda an hour before their first appearance. I wonder if these numbers keep up.

I truly feel because of the movies that wicked may have cemented itself as a piece of pop culture for eternity. When I have kids, I’ll show them the entire MCU slate that held such a large grip on the world around the Infinity War Endgame period. In that same vein, I’ll also make sure that they watch Wicked, and it’s honestly hard not to fall in love with it. It’s such a feel good movie musical and I would dare to say one of if not the best movie musical adaptations I’ve ever had the pleasure to witness.

Worth mentioning that the existing President J.L. Bonnier was promoted to become President of Universal Destinations & Experiences Asia-Pacific (which I was not aware, actually includes USH in addition to Japan and Beijing).

Funnily enough, I'm acquaintances with someone who is corporate at USJ and was told that even though they have an image of being a Western company, they are actually a very tough "black company" with long hours and very traditional expectations.

the choices this year have been interesting with the apothecaries diaries as the next limited time IP to be featured in the park. This year the IPs for Universal Cool have definitely leaned toward female Japanese audiences.

I’m just thrilled I’ll be able to ride the proper Space Fantasy in May for the first (and maybe last) time ever. Such a shame they ruin it so often with the VR overlay.

Free wifi is now available parkwide starting today.

Seems like this should have been a requirement for any theme park which requires an app to navigate the park via timed entry requests etc.
