What does Jurassic Park need?

Nah, I'm with you. I really like the ride myself, but I don't mind some renovations (especially since each time I've been on it and they say "oh no! the dinosaur just pushed your boat!" no dinosaur comes...).

JPRA needs a refurb terribly the problem is there isn't another ride on the island to play diversion. You have the Discovery Center but not a ride, it wouldn't be a big deal if they still had Triceratops Encounter. Then you could have to non-ride attractions to play diversion but nope.

I think JPRA is a good ride still, but like it's been pointed out here it needs a rehab and maybe borrow a little from Disney and do a re-imagination of this ride. I remember being so excited for this ride the first time I went on it and although I did enjoy the ride, I remember thinking, "is that it? where's all the dinosaurs?" So rather than gutting it all how about adding some more dinos. The raptors are ok but going up the hill is quite boring, you need some more diversion so it doesn't feel so much like a roller coaster hill and transitions a little better. Or, another idea is just gut the whole thing and make the much anticipated "ANACONDA-the ride" experience.

JRPA has needed more dinosaurs from the get-go, I thought that the first time I rode it, when the park was still in previews. And the dinosaurs do need rehab, although it has been about a year or so since I've ridden.

A jeep ride would be great, or a dark ride, but why don't they do something with the Triceratops encounter area? That has been closed for years, and I've been through a few haunted houses there, but nothing else. Shame, it is such a beautiful part of the park.

Defiantly need another ride, or re-open the triceratops encounter. I was telling people about it (not knowing that it shut down) so we went to see it a few weeks ago and nobody there knew what I was talking about. lol

It's odd that one of the largest sections in the park and a film franchise that could be used for various ride concepts hardly contains any real attractions within it... After Harry Potter hits, Universal should focus more on putting in a couple of attractions in JP.

I think the jeep tour would be amazing and the T-Rex scene would be incredible if done right. The rain and everything could be sprayed no problem and the fake jeeps couldn't be that hard to make. They could even make it driven by someone and make a tour into a ride like they do at Disney with the Safari only a much better version.

The ride with the labs and stuff would be good too. (the revolving one) Just a refurbishment would be nice too.

The drop could be used as a time the T-Rex knocks you off a cliff or something.

Great potential. Bad Financing probably. No Imaginations.

I use to say the Jurassic Park Island needed another roller coaster but alas that was the Roller Coaster Enthuisiast side of me talking. The side of me that loves UOR says it looks just fine the way it is. But for some reason those 2 sides don't get along. Enthuisiast wants a Intamin LIM Impulse Coaster, UOR Fan says meh. Haha

JPRA does need major rehab work to amaze guest again i love the alien encounter type idea and the jeep ride but what about a ride similar to ROTM:thumbs: it could be longer and give it a real phycological experience with all kinds of chaos going on inside. why did they take away the triceratop encounter anyway that was one the most amazing things i ever saw at a theme park after harry potter they really plan some of these ideas out

I like this idea too. They already have the electrified fences in places along the island. Just stick some moving dinos behind them.

Definitely! It would be cool if you were walking around a corner to come across a large triceratops or stegasaurus grazing just inside the fence.

i think a raptor cage like the one in JP1 would nice puts some AA's and display their tactics and show how smart they really are maybe people would learn a little something in there

I dont know, ive been messing with this idea forever and i can never come up with anything. So maybe the whole island needs to be scrapped. The movies are great but its a dead trilogy, i dont see them making anymore. So how about Transformers/Cybertron. You have a second movie coming out this summer and a third sometime in the future. Imagine the technology behind an island that that, the rides, themes. I probably wont happen because of HP but it would be amazing.

never thought of transformers but naw dont scratch it plus it would look to much like marvel superhero island anyway it wouldnt work that would be cool though
